Beanie Wells...? (1 Viewer)

Eminence

Footballguy
He put up numbers last year with the lionshare of carries. I assume he is workhouse when he comes back.

Could be an interesting pickup.

Wouldn't be til' Week 12 though.

He is a player that will be a feature back for a team - and he can be had for peanuts. At worst, he's depth for you in case one of your starters go down.

Go get him.

Perhaps people are starting to understand just how bad the O-line is and has been in Zona. That's one of the things that always made me defend Beanie a bit more than normal because while the masses would always say he isn't that special (JUST 1000 yards/10 TDS) and would say it was going to be so much different once Williams pushed him out of the way (assuming that he would), those groups of people were likely not really watching much of the Arizona games.

As a person who has been watching, I always thought that he was doing A LOT considering he had so little to work with. So, to my point in THIS conversation.

Given his schedule and the general difficulty this year with the Cardinals, YES, I would add him but try to sell him, mentioning the things above. Beanie will make a differnce fot eh cardinals once he returns but I'm doubting they can straighten everything out this year. I think he will improve Fitz's outlook because he will get something out of the little there presenting itself.

I still like him in dynasty but kind of think this season is a loss in redraft.

I LIKE to CAPITALIZE random words in my POSTS! It makes me feel like my POINT comes across BETTER!

What's YOUR point? Other than trying to be an ###?

Just that. :) I love being a Three-number sign.

Schedule week 12-16STL @NYJ @SEA DET CHI
:X :I guess if you're desperate he's worth a shot and could surprise. Other than maybe the Jets game no one is going to be excited about plugging him into their lineup.

I grabbed him a few weeks back because he was on my waiver wire and I had an open IR spot...but my goal is really to try to trade him as soon as he's known to be healthy. I can't imagine a situation where I would start him in those matchups over even my low-level RB backups like Pierre Thomas.
