**Bears at Ravens**(-2.5, 45) 1:00 (2 Viewers)

The Bears are quickly becoming the Rodney Dangerfield of the NFL
Underdogs to a 1 and 5 Baltimore team that's looked lost for several weeks
I'm aware Lamar Jackson has missed some time
Maybe the Ravens will get back on track but why does it have to be against the Bears?

Chance for Chicago to announce their Playoff aspirations

I think Tyler Huntley is better than Cooper Rush (who is and has always been awful, despite what stats may say) but he's still a lot closer to Rush than to even a compromised Lamar. Bears are down their top-3 CBs so Huntley may have some success throwing the ball, as even despite the CB injuries, I fully expect frequent 8-man boxes to defend Henry. If he's fully healthy, I think this could be a week Hopkins could make some plays. Ravens OL is back to health.

Ravens D is getting a ton of guys (Roquan, Hamilton, Humphrey) back, its basically all hands on deck except Lamar this week, so I'm not expecting the defensive sieve we saw earlier this season. I think the Ravens are able to slow the Bears run game, and this comes down to can Caleb Williams win this game against a healthy Ravens defense?

Ravens win by a FG.

Lamarr ruled out

Yeah, I'm definitely interested to see what the Ravens defense looks like with those 3 plus Awuzie coming back. And then their schedule looks pretty juicy for a while - @dolphins, @VIkings, @Browns, Jets.

Huntley may have some success throwing the ball

Game Logs from 2021, 2022, and even when people thought he stunk in 2024

Coin flip as to whether you're getting a good game, but his good games are indeed good. Why would they have gone with Rush before him?

eta* Eh, he is isn't really that good. I don't know what to say about him. Check his attempts and success, I guess.

Since 2019 (post Flacco), Ravens are 3-11 straight up and 6-8 ats in games not started by Lamar Jackson

Your sharp tip of the day: Baltimore is much better with Lamar Jackson.

LaMar is in
LaMar is out
Ravens being investigated
The King hasn't been very regal this year
The Bears are quietly playing very well
I think they may be a "live dog" this week
Are The Ravens a mess right now?
The Bears aren't
so...

Visiting Bears- 29

Home Ravens- 20

Bears 23...Ravens 19
No Jackson at QB, Huntley is horrific and proved it in Miami, I doubt he is able to will the Ravens to victory
This is a game Chicago in recent years would lose rather easily, let's see if they've turned the corner
Chicago has won 4 in a. row, chance for them to establish themselves as a Playoff contender, at least chasing a wildcard spot

Ravens are a mess, but they are coming off a bye. I just don't trust the Bears in this spot on the road.
Don't trust the Bears but feels weird for the Ravens to be favored here.
Bad teams coming off a bye are great plays. Teams have two weeks to get healthy and throw a wrinkle or two into the playbook. People also down as the Ravens cost people a lot of money.

Buuuuuuttttt this game feels different with the backup QB in. I think its a game they run the heck out of Henry and win with a healthier D. I have the Bears +3.5. I dont line it, but I knew I wasn't getting that number today.

Hard to tell what the Bears are trying to do on offense. Ravens defense looks to have stymied their game plan so they're dipping into the bag with no success yet.

Caleb Williams is not a franchise Quarterback, sad to watch them losing to the Ravens with Lamar Jackson OUT today
-No moral victories at this point, the Bears should have punished the Ravens today, not happening

Is it safe to say he’s not as good as Daniels or Maye without the hounds being released?

He seems better than Nix and McCarthy if that makes everybody feel better.

I think this is perfectly reasonable to say.

Let’s see what another year with Ben Johnson does.

It’s never really settled until their careers are over. I’ve seen so many premature victory laps that my judgments are generally limited up until that point only.

The Ravens should have taken 2 knees to run the clock down, then try to get a TD on 3rd down. If they miss, chip shot FG with less than a minute left.
