Bears did an awesome job this offseason. Very happy the way they handled the soon-to-be free agents, the Briggs situation and their draft picks. I'm excited to see this guy play. Too bad it might be a little while, he's playing behind 3 very solid DEs!
He signs all of his draft picks, early and in camp.
He isn't afraid to make changes if it will benefit the team.
He makes trades in the draft and acquires future draft picks as well.
Extends contracts of quality players to avoid problems in free agency.
He can evaluate talent very well. I can only think of two draft picks that he has made that have been complete busts. Michael Haynes, which could be contributed to a change in philosophy with a change from Jauron to Smith, and Roosevelt Williams, who never developed from small school CB.
