Can we keep this thread to the status of ben watson instead of talking about every other TE in the NFL??
He's not playing this week. Did you not read that post with a link from Rotoworld and ESPN insider? The unwritten second question becomes where should owners look now for week 15 replacements. Can we keep this thread to the status of ben watson instead of talking about every other TE in the NFL??
I read them and didn't see anything remotely concrete, just mucho speculation.Did you not read that post with a link from Rotoworld and ESPN insider?
Courtney Anderson and Ben TroupeI think I'm going to rule out Watson and sift through my other options. I've got KW2, and VDavis and Scheffler are available on the wire, so it will not be an easy decision. I'm guessing that some of the other Watson owners in here do not have such an attractive plethora of alternatives.
Got Owen Daniels and Scheffler available. Leaning towards Owen Daniels, but not sure...Courtney Anderson and Ben TroupeI think I'm going to rule out Watson and sift through my other options. In my league it's 2-2 for the last four weeksBri said:I'm fairly confident Graham has been outscoring Utecht for a few weeks nowThe Finist said:I like Utecht this week if Dallas Clark is still hurt.
NE OUT SS Rodney Harrison (Shoulder)
QUESTIONABLE ILB Eric Alexander (Shoulder)
ILB Don Davis (Knee)
TE Daniel Graham (Ankle)
CB Ellis Hobbs (Wrist)
WR Chad Jackson (Groin)
RB Laurence Maroney (Back)
T Ryan O'Callaghan (Neck)
PROBABLE FS Rashad Baker (Thigh)
QB Tom Brady (Shoulder)
LB Corey Mays (Hamstring)
DE Richard Seymour (Elbow)
So then despite everything we've heard, Watson might actually not even be on the injury report? Hard to believe.Graham has been Q for a long time
:shuked: on the thumbdown. If you have the option, get a backup plan in place - make a decision tomorrow morning. Small and frozen rosters may have no options.Yes but backups may play on Thursday, and have to decide by thenAt least there was one good post in here.I thnk it's a bit early to worry, but you should have a backup plan in place if you have the option.I don't - I am stuck with whatever Watson does from here on out - one of the inequities of a small roster.Getting info from Coach B is like pulling teeth. I imagine he will be listed as questionable.![]()
I am not sure when the cut off is, but I think by this evening the team is REQUIRED to list him on the injury report if he is injured.I suspect you are correct that they have the wrong TE.This is from NFL.com's injury report (Link). Is it really possible that Graham is questionable and Watson isn't on the report. I'm thinking they just got the wrong TE.

Good get - this means the team is required to list him on the injury report. My bet = questionable and a GTD, but I am obviously speculating.missed at least a portion of the team's practice Wednesday, Dec. 13.
http://story.scout.com/a.z?s=25&p=2&am...d2%26c%3d600374The New England Patriots had a pair of tight ends in for a look yesterday and another is expected today. With the injury to Ben Watson in Sunday's loss to the Miami Dolphins, it's beginning to look like the Patriots are planning for a stretch without the team's leading receiver.
He WAS questionable last week. I had a PM dialogue here with a few folks about him but nonetheless here-http://football4.myfantasyleague.com/2006/...2811&P=6529So then despite everything we've heard, Watson might actually not even be on the injury report? http://www.patriots.com/news/index.cfm?ac=...061&pcid=47He's nothing. Boy did he seem talented with Atlanta his first or 2nd year but he's bounced around the league so much...geesh.The signing of O.J. Santiago makes me believe that the Watson injury may be pretty serious.
Not that we have a chance of finding anything out from Belichick.
Be glad you have someone to fall back on.The league I have him in only has 5 bench spots. I decided against having a backup TEOuch...waivers are froze in the playoffs & Bo Scaife (Q) is my only other TE.
