Bengals WR Henry in trouble again? (1 Viewer)

Anybody defending this idiot's actions as no big deal because it was 'only 0.92' needs to look at a bigger picture.
Says the guy with the avatar of a cat drinking a beer. :banned: I gotta agree with what you said though, look at the big picture.

Kevin McBride
I'm not saying he's a saint or even a particularily bright person, but if anything sinks his career it will be more than just this. (Although I agree that at the rate he is going whatever straw that breaks the camel's back will come sooner rather than later.)I'm surprised by the holier than thou attitudes of some. Reminds me of the poll in the FFA a few months ago asking if people had ever driven drunk and the vast majority of respondents when you give them an anonymous out said "yes." Let he that is without sin cast the first stone.

Back to football, if you owned him a dynasty league there would be no reason to drop him right now. He's still the #3 in Cinci's offense until we hear otherwise. If you're really worried about him losing his spot, see if you can trade him. I doubt you will get much since everyone seems convinced he's one strike away from being out of the league (which may or may not be the case. Have we heard anything from Cinci's coaching staff on Henry's behavior?)

Guys, I think some are missing the point. It is not that he was "barely" speeding or that he blew a number "barely" over the limit.

The point is that there is a cumulative effect with all of these arrests for so many different offenses. Let's summarize: Drugs, sexual assault, DUI, gun possession, etc.

unless he has his Cris Carter moment and realizes that he is throwing his career away, it is just a matter of time before he goes out and gets jail time or seriously hurts himself. He obviously has some sort of problem to get three ARRESTS in just 6 months.

Cast the first stone? How about a poll here to see how many have gotten 3 arrests within 6 months for possession of marijuana, pointing a gun at others, and also a DUI? Most people learn from their mistakes. He doesn't seem pointed in that direction.

How long was it before Tremain Mack left the Bengals after his episode on the bridge (passed out in his car)? He also showed promise, but was fairly quickly out of the league.

While not a Bengal, Cecil Collins showed promise and then showed his true stripes by getting busted again. Generally, where there is smoke, there is fire.

He may have provided a sample at .092 later in the night, but some criminal lawyer will call evidence at trial to show that he was under 80 at the time of driving. It's called evidence to the contrary.

He will be acquitted :bag: :banned: :excited:

bump Kelly Washington with Henry working his way off the team and Walter in Houston
good thought but when's the last time you heard an NFL player benched for a DUI or DWI?
Marvin may not "bench" him, but the NFL may suspend him. And if he can't play, he's of little value to Marvin. The guy has one year in the league. If he was already established as a star, looking the other way may be understandable - although not preferable.

Once he got in trouble with the marijuana, he should have been on his best behavior. EIther he didn't get the message (not very bright) or doesn't care. Regardless, it is not the type of attitude you want from a #3 WR - and with Perry, Chatman and Washington it's not as if he can't be replaced.
