Bengals WR Johnson suffers concussion

Wide receiver Chad Johnson suffered a bruised right shoulder on his 8-yard touchdown reception at 3:09 of the first quarter, then suffered a concussion with 2:07 left in the game on a hit from Browns safety Brian Russell that sliced open Johnson's chin.

Wide receiver coach Hue Jackson led Chad Johnson into the showers and helped him get dressed. One of the team's trainers drove Johnson home.

"I talked to Chad," quarterback Carson Palmer said. "He's a little loopy. He took a shot to the head. He's a little out of it, but he'll come to his senses."

Serves them right for putting him in with the game in hand. Freakin brutal hit. "Knocked everything off but the mohawk". Guess the Drownies didn't like his dancing.

Johnson never fares well against the steelers.
uhh...I'm pretty sure this isn't accurate, but I can't find a game log list to prove you wrong. Anyone help me out on this?
In there last 4 meetings Johnson has averaged 65 yards a game and no TDs. I would consider that under achieving for a WR of his caliber.
Averaged 70 yards and .25 TDsLast 6 meetings, 79 yards and .33 TDs

Your wrong. I seem to remember an AFC wild card game played last year. Add those stats in to the last three you posted and there you have it. :bye:

Shall we count preseason stats over the past decade into this equation? I don't like looking at playoff stats because it's a totally different scenario.

Every time Pitts and Cincy play it is of a playoff atmosphere. I feel it is valid to count those games. You should know these teams would never play each other in the pre season being from the same division and all. The reason I picked the last 4 games is because those are the games Ike Taylor played at CB. It seems he has CJ's number.

:sarcasm:
I guess sarcasm saves the day.

As a Bengals megafan...I'm a bit concerned about all the injuries sustained during the mauling of that loser team up north. Next few games are going to be brutal...they need all their starters back. Let's just say I'm more worried about the Bengals than my fantasy team...now that's saying something.

You're* getting a tad big-headed for an internet forum. Tone it down.
