who to draft, i have 4th pic in dynasty rookie draft, in dire need of RB's, should both be available who to draft, Benson who probably will be backup to Cook or Brooks who is in time share with Hubbard, Sanders.

Leaning towards Benson, Thx.

For dynasty rookie drafts I don't worry that much about situation as that will change over time. I want the better player. That is Brooks provided he comes back to form from the ACL injury. I would take that chance and Brooks is the easy choice as the first RB off the board in rookie drafts.

However, at pick #4 I would not be taking a RB in a rookie draft. The point of a rookie draft is to get a multi year FF starter for my team. Assuming a 1 QB league that is not TE premium I would be taking one of my top 4 WR's on the board as I would have them all ranked ahead of Brooks or Benson.

Brooks is the easy choice for me in dynasty. He's drafted to be CAR lead back. He was also a better prospect (pre-ACL) than Benson. It's not close for me.

Ah I missed that he had the 4th pick overall. I would 100% not be taking Benson with teh 4th pick even if I needed a RB.

No one needs to start an RB right now. I'm with Gally in that Draft best player available and make a trade later for an RB if you are a true contender. If you aren't a contender then don't draft a RB. Next year's draft is going to be good for RBs so make sure you have mutliple 1st round picks next year if you can.

Even in 1 QB leagues Benson is sitting around pick 9-12 depending how your league values QBs and TEs in 1 QB. I'd maybe be OK drafting Brooks in the 4th spot as maybe you aren't sure on Bowers or the next set of WRs but I wouldn't take Benson.

If this is SuperFlex you can't take Benson. Take the best QB or WR available and trade for a RB.

WRs in the order i would take them:

Malik Nabers
Rome Odunze
M. Harrison
Ladd McConkey.
Caleb Williams depending on SFlex
Then TE Bowers.
Target Brooks over Benson. If the top RBs are available consider Blake Corum Dylan Laube.
