Mark Bradley is expected to start for Bernard Berrian, according to FoxSports.com's John Czarnecki.

Berrian is a game-time decision. Since he's less than 100%, we'd avoid using him if possible this week.

Any more word from the Bears homers?

FWIW, here's a blurb from the Bears' website:

Berrian hopes to play today after missing last Sunday night’s game with sore ribs. The 2004 third-round pick practiced throughout the week and remains questionable on the injury report.

Inactive the previous five games, Mark Bradley filled in admirably for Berrian against the Giants, catching four passes for 79 yards including his first NFL touchdown on a 29-yard pass play from Grossman that drew the Bears to within 13-10 late in the first half.

Bernard Berrian will start at wideout for the Bears Sunday.

He's still a risky play against New York because he's not 100%. But he's an option now.

ESPN's Sal Paolantonio, reporting live from the Meadowlands, just advised "Sunday NFL Countdown" viewers that Bernard Berrian is active and will start today's game against the Jets.

Berrian missed last week's game with a painful rib injury but practiced all week. There still seems to be some concern about his ability to take a hard shot to the affected area, but will undoubtedly be wearing addition padding to protect the injury.

Meanwhile, all indications are the team will continue to make liberal use of fellow deep threat Mark Bradley even with Berrian in the mix. Bradley's role, of course, would increase if Berrian struggles or suffers a setback.
Got this from another site. Did Sal say the part about Bradley's role?
