I thought the hippy years had a little pushing shoving and bullets.I don't remember protesters shutting down campaign events nor a string of violent outbreaks. This is awful.

Because they are always going to Bernie and Hillary rally's ( if you can call hers that ) and shouting in their faces they are the scum of the earth.Trump and his supporters seem to believe it is.
We haven't had a wannabe Hitler this close to a nomination before either.I don't remember a campaign event being shut down because of security concerns. I don't remember a string of campaign events being littered by violence.
You know who shut down opposing political rallies? We haven't had a wannabe Hitler this close to a nomination before either.
Hm I'll take Huey Long and McArthur as prior entrants in this listing, but Huey got nailed & Mac got canned soooooo... you may be right. If this was a football thread you could post some cool stats but unfortunately there's no QBR for dictators, that would make it a lot easier. We haven't had a wannabe Hitler this close to a nomination before either.
Omg what?My wife sent me a blog post about what it would be like if Bernie were a woman and Hillary were a man.
I couldn't argue that the "Hillary man" world crush "Bernie woman". The things Bernie says can only be said by a man. Those statements would be rejected as far too radical. Doesn't this prove some inherent sexism in the political game?
The vast majority of early Bernie supporters would have been right there if it were Elizabeth Warren running instead. Can't say she'd have gotten to where Bernie is now, but she's been saying a lot of the same things for a while. My wife sent me a blog post about what it would be like if Bernie were a woman and Hillary were a man.

Bernie is a very slick politician. Doesn't get the credit he deserves.Bern!
Absolutely not. And I'm really unhappy that people identifying themselves with Sanders are doing this. It's practically the only thing that will detract from his message. Keep it clean my friends.Im asking Bernie fans if they think that using violence and intimidation to shut down political events is a legitimate reaction?
I hope he doesn't start individually thanking each elected official who doesn't endorse him. could break the twitterverse.Bernie is a very slick politician. Doesn't get the credit he deserves.
They put your Bern bro stage rusher on CNN for an interview. Secret Service is going to have their hands full attempting to stop rabid bern bros trying to attack him all summer. Bernie, the candidate for anarchists, violent suppression and attacks on presidential candidates.Absolutely not. And I'm really unhappy that people identifying themselves with Sanders are doing this. Where exactly in Bernie's platform, or any statements he's ever made, or any actions he's ever taken, has he advocated anarchy, violence or attacks on anyone? They put your Bern bro stage rusher on CNN for an interview. Attack Trump and get on CNN. Feel the Bern.
Only if you think "math" is exclusive to the "Democratic establishment."I was listening to Progressive radio this morning. It's either that of some preacher around here. Anyway, they were painting a picture that Hillary could lose all the major states by 10% and Bernie wouldn't get enough delegates to win. I'm guessing Democratic establishment radio would be a better description.
I preferred your unedited post. Im looking forward to more violence from the morally superior Bern bros, its just getting warmed up.Where exactly in Bernie's platform, or any statements he's ever made, or any actions he's ever taken, has he advocated anarchy, violence or attacks on anyone?
How about you try answering the question I posed you? I'll pose it again - Where exactly in Bernie's platform, or any statements he's ever made, or any actions he's ever taken, has he advocated anarchy, violence or attacks on anyone? Also, why would you look forward to more violence? What's wrong with you?I preferred your unedited post. Weird thing is he blows her away in KS & NE and still comes away 50/50 in delegates. When he loses he loses, when he wins he ties.Only if you think "math" is exclusive to the "Democratic establishment."
She blew Sanders out in a bunch of states already. Winning a state 52/48 is nice PR for Sanders, but doesn't do very much to cut into her lead since everything is proportional.
You're adorable.I preferred your unedited post. Im looking forward to more violence from the morally superior Bern bros, its just getting warmed up.
I'm hoping we can repeal the 19th amendment. If Bernie doesn't win the nomination, I'm hoping we can take a second look at the 22nd amendment.
I'm not sure I believe it - that would be insaneCBS News Politics @CBSPolitics
CBS NEWS POLL: Bernie Sanders is leading Hillary Clinton in Illinois, 48% to 46% cbsn.ws/1RHsOoJ pic.twitter.com/iMBAkD3Kta

We just received the latest poll out of Illinois, the second largest state voting on Tuesday, and wanted to share it with you immediately:
NBC News - Illinois - 3/13
Hillary Clinton: 51%
Bernie Sanders: 45%
We have come so far in a short time. The most recent polls here showed our campaign down 19, 42, and 37 points. It would be heartbreaking to come up short after everything we’ve overcome together so far. Don’t let that happen, especially not with the millionaires and billionaires ramping up their spending to stop us.
Just watched Bernie in a town hall on CNN. He killed it. Hillary just started now.
Isn't that because his support tends to be in pockets such as college towns rather than distributed widely? I think delegates are awarded proportionally, but it also is geographic within each state. At least that is the way I understood it for the Democratic primaries. I remember before Iowa that the Sanders campaign was encouraging students to go home to caucus rather than doing so in the city where they went to college so that they could balance out their support.SaintsInDome2006 said:Weird thing is he blows her away in KS & NE and still comes away 50/50 in delegates. Are you rooting for Bernie to take the Dem nomination? He is more dangerous than Trump to the American way of life.Wanted to throw out a scenario that I have been mulling over in my head. Obviously, Tuesday will go a long way towards validating whether or not the following is possible.
It seems to me that with the Michigan upset, and if Tuesday shakes out in Bernie's favor, that Bernie may in fact take the momentum in the race such that he starts winning more and more states but due to proportionality fails to capture a majority of the delegates because she has crushed him in some states with high delegate counts.
Do any of you see a scenario whereby the Dem Party realizes that Bernie is the candidate with the momentum and even though he doesn't get the delegate count he is the more favored candidate?
For example, before the BCS playoff system it was often common for a young NCAA football team to get tripped up early in the season. However, by the time they reached the end of the season one could consider them one of the best teams in the country. However, due to those early losses and the structure of the system, they would not be allowed to play for the championship.
What happens if say Bernie wins 30 of the 50 states?

I have mixed feelings on HRC and Bernie. Are you rooting for Bernie to take the Dem nomination? He is more dangerous than Trump to the American way of life.

I dont like self proclaimed Marxists preaching tax and spend big daddy gov. will save you. I dislike both of these populist movements. Bernie scares me more.
Never change, Ladsud!

Agreed. So what do you think about Sanders?I dont like self proclaimed Marxists preaching tax and spend big daddy gov. will save you.
He's trying to get people health care and an education. With your logic we should repeal Medicare and make all schools private again.I dont like self proclaimed Marxists preaching tax and spend big daddy gov. will save you. I dislike both of these populist movements. Bernie scares me more.
I wont vote Ted Cruz, I dont like people that are introduced by preachers that want to murder gays. The Ted Cruz thread is on page 3

He can call himself what he wants, but it all comes from the same source material.Who's the Marxist?
(I think someone needs to go back to school)
You can call him what you want, but you clearly are not educated on Bernie Sanders. He can call himself what he wants, but it all comes from the same source material.
Again....you need some more school, because Marxism <> socialism. And that's just for starters, because Bernie's labeled himself as a democratic socialist...which implies no desire to replace Capitalism with Socialism in all areas of business. His desires in that regard are rather limited, actually. He can call himself what he wants, but it all comes from the same source material.
He has openly attacked Wall St., where the heart of capitalism lays and advocating taxing it to death. If you can refrain from personal attacks and tell me how he is going to solve our problems without taxing me into the grave please share. Or is this the snobby bern bro thread where we shoot down people that dont agree with your socialist plan for America?Again....you need some more school, because Marxism <> socialism. It's hilarious how you complain about personal attacks but have done nothing except attack Sanders. Regardless, here is some info:He has openly attacked Wall St., where the heart of capitalism lays and advocating taxing it to death.
