Best day of football this year (1 Viewer)

I haven't been this excited about a day of football in quite some time. I'm so excited that I can't sleep. But I need to sleep so that I can concentrate on the football!

The games today should both be extraordinarily competitive. Ravens-Steelers will be incredible--the last playoff game this heavily anticipated was probably Patriots-Colts in 2006. Falcons-Packers should also be very close, as it was during the regular season. I can envision either team winning in both contests.

I expect both Sunday games to be laughers (Patriots and Bears by a mile) but the two games today will be very good. I hope everyone is ready for some football!

It's certainly one of the best days for football.

- New Year's Day

- Super Bowl

- First Sunday of the regular season

- First day of the NFL draft

- First Saturday of college ball

The Ravens/Steelers game should be excellent if Rice can get healthy, but the Jets/Patriots is the game of the week IMO.

the super bowl defines the season and is the game that counts the most, and the afc/nfc titles are great . opening weekend great . but for me this is usually my favorite weekend of the year in sports . some of the best games of the year are often this weekend and 4 packed in together . 8 of 32 teams are alive today to win the super bowl, 1/4 of the league which is interesting. 28 hours from kick today there will only be 4 left.

I'm rooting for the bears but think it'll be alot closer than ppl think. Cutler is inconsistent, seattle won the reg. season matchup and now is playing with house money since no one expects them to win. The 6th seed has done well in the AFC in the past, it's about time for the 6th seed in the NFC to show up.

Believe it or not the Packers are the 6th seed. Seattle is the 4th seed.
