Be careful with the site. It is great, seeing as how it is free. But for years I have noticed how drastically Mr. Scott alters his mock drafts to conform with Kiper and now McShay.
The biggest example I remember was Phillip Merling. Wright didn't have him going in the first 2 rounds. Kiper releases a mock with Merling going top 15 to the Redskins; Wright has Merling as a 1st rounder in his next mock, a week later. There are plenty of examples like this.
His player profiles are pretty worthless too:
Pros: Big enough. Fast enough. Good hands and runs good routes.
Cons: Not blazing fast. Does not have elite size. Drops too many balls.
I used to be a forum member there. People would ask him questions and he would be very vague until closer to the draft, when he can look at Kiper, McShay, and other resources.
But, it is a good site and he seems like a good guy. But you can always tell those that use his site as a bible when they laugh at a guys like Kiper for making a bold prediction (until Wright follows suit, shortly after).

I'd argue just the opposite. biggest reason i love the site is that his rankings are very non-conformist, though he will mock based solely on who he thinks a team will take, not his top players. For instance this week, McShay and others have been raving about kaepernick at the senior bowl, while scott has been completely anti-kaepernickand heres an example of one of the profiles. not vague at all to say the least : http://www.draftcountdown.com/ScoutingRepo...el-Jernigan.php

Draftguys is my spot, maybe you've heard of them. There's a new writer that's sorta blooming or coming into his own.
Also this Waldman fellow seems to jot down a note or two and put it in a file for folks to read.
USAToday offers a bunch of Rob Rang's stuff free. Rob is one of the nicest and most knowledgable draft guys there is. He once did a Q&A with this site that I think was on the forums.
The gem of it all is really a thread right here by Tick? I always kick myself for forgetting who, I think it's him. He starts a thread most years and provides hundreds, maybe 1000, links to quality free info. It's fantastic but you can't read it all! Who has the time?

Rang and the other NFL Draft Scout guys moved to CBS sports, and that is the best, IMO.

I got banned from their forums for arguing a 40 time when there was conflicting reports between their site and another. Ever since then, I haven't been back much. Not sure I agree with that, I just wanted to figure out who had the accurate information.
too much quality info out there to name just one, but if they run their site like nazis I won't be there plus those free IPOD ads or whatever it is that yell through your computer are super annoying

The website is alright, but i enjoy the podcasts he puts up a few times a week on itunes, very much.
, other than that though they are pretty good.

I just lost a lot of respect for Scott when he said he liked a NC corner and said he played like a poor man's Alphanso Smith
