I had been using MFL for guillotine leagues for years before guillotineleagues.com came around. My league switched to guillotineleagues.com for last season, and it was a good experience.

Then, for some reason (that probably has to do with the sale to Matthew Berry), the site gets an overhaul which makes it pretty glitchy/clunky, and they come out with an app with only an iPhone version available (at the time of me typing this).

We are about 2 weeks away from our slow draft starting and will need to make a decision since half of the league uses android.

What are people doing for Guillotine this year? I saw that Yahoo! is putting out a guillotine version, and Sleeper just hinted that they are about to drop that too. MFL is an option, but their version is not free. Has anyone played around or even done a draft on Yahoo? I'd love to stick with guillotineleagues.com, but I don't know if they'll be ready by the time I need them to be.

I’ve done one in the past on Fantrax. Pretty easy to see who the lowest is any given week, but it’s manual for the commissioner to go in and drop all their players. It’s not a crazy amount of work, though.

I have to admit that I don’t draft players by facial recognition or looking at the first three characters of their name. I’ve been in a few fast leagues now and you need an actual cheat sheet in front of you. It’s very difficult to draft with a phone or laptop. Maybe a whole lot less fun is how I would put it.

Just had my first draft today. Like others said, a bit clunky and difficult to get around at first. Then you get used to it and it is fine. Looking forward to figuring out the strategy as long as I don't get dropped the first week. Oh, drafting in a 18 team league is interesting.
