All three I guess were pretty popular books, which was the best movie?

Didn't see the giver but the other two sucked. They are such teases too. If I pay for a movie, give me an ending....not a dumb to be continued so you get my money when my wife drags me to next dumb installment of the dumb story line.

Fell asleep in the Giver, but what I stayed awake for was pretty horrible. Divergent was okay, and Hunger Games was good I thought. As for the endings, Hunger Games was pretty stand-alone as I recall it. It was Catching Fire and Mockingjay part 1 that had the cliffhangers.

I've found the Hunger Games movies pretty interesting (didn't read the books). One thing I noticed is that Katniss seems to take a bit of a backseat in Mockingjay, Part One, which is logical given the increasing scale of events but made her (and JL) feel a bit sidelined for a main character. Maybe that will be solved in the final installment. Divergent featured atrocious acting from several key participants but is a cool concept. Giver, no idea.

I guess you'd have to blame the books for that. The movie went the same as the books.
