Best Uniforms in NFL History (1 Viewer)

Raider Nation

Devil's Advocate
A couple of ground rules.

- You get ONE choice. Anyone can name ten favorite uniforms. Make a decision. One choice.

- Post a picture of the uniform you voted for. It's easy to Google any NFL uniform. Don't be lazy.

My choice is THIS ... and it's really not close in my mind.

I have no idea why I'm not a Rams fan. I always liked that jersey the best when I was growing up. The contrasting blue and yellow colors? Perfect. It is so Los Angeles. Works perfectly with natural grass and sunshine. The Ram horns on the helmet and sleeves? Perfect.

I literally felt like throwing up when they got rid of these uniforms in favor of the dark blue and mustard colored abominations they currently wear. They took the best uniforms ever and threw them in the trash. Immediately AFTER winning the Super Bowl, mind you. Terrible decision.

One note on the uniform I nominated: to be precise, these are the uniforms the Rams wore from 1973-1994. Even though they appear to be the same uniforms they also wore up until 1999, there is one subtle change. The socks. Notice in the picture I posted of Greg Bell, he has stripes on his socks. Those stripes were eliminated when the franchise moved to St. Louis, as displayed HERE by The Bus. A minor difference, to be sure. But I like the stripes better.

I am, ummm... really into this stuff. :bag:

I so wanted to pick the Browns brown jersey with orange pants look but I prefer that Cowboys uniform a little bit more.

Cincinnati Bengals.  And they've been the best uniforms since they switched away from the Crappy Cleveland rip off.

#1 -SD powder blue with the black number on the side of the white helmets.

#2 - Raiders silver and black

#3 - that throwback that buffalo bills ahve made their current uni. Very nice

Lion homer but I love the Lions white uniform along with the Raiders white jersey with the silver & black trim.

Bears, last 25 years or so, darks or whites. Elegant, classic, most sold Nfl jerseys in history.

Its funny to think about now but as a kid growing up even in the heart of Buffalo Bills country, I loved the look of the 70's era Miami Dolphins. It probably didn't hurt in my mind just how good those teams were but I've always love the unique colors and logo of the Dolphins 70's style uniforms.

 I agree in theory, but they screwed with the placement of the shoulder lightning bolts and the sleeve numbers.

Compared to the originals, I mean, in the Lance Alworth era and again during the 1994 throwback season.
true, but it wasn't enough to bounce them down for me to my next favorite team that i wasn't gonna mention and have your wrath brought down on me.
LOL

Yep. Nothing wrong with your own team's uniforms though.Buffalo's new (old) look is very sharp.

I am surprised the Raiders haven't been mentioned yet. Classy, but menacing. I actually prefer the white jerseys.
A couple of dudes mentioned the Raiders but didn't post pics. Clearly against the rules! The one I'm surprised hasn't been mentioned yet is the Steve Bartkowski-era Falcons.

Love, love, love that helmet and color scheme. The "new" Falcons logo is pathetic.
When I play Madden I always refer to the legacy unis as "The Elways" or the "Thurmans" I like the Raiders as the best uniforms in all of sport to be honest. Pick one.

Love the simplicity of these uniforms.http://profile.ak.fbcdn.net/hprofile-ak-ash2/50280_84066108754_5546321_n.jpg
:goodposting: no stripes, no outlines on numbers or other gay crap. sick.dont get how berman started all this love for the powder blue. might be the single most overrated thing ever.

Give me the classic Patriots uniforms of 25 years ago with the Patriot on the logo about to hike the football. Those were the best.

The Falcons look is nice- that was my high school's uniform as well.

You like that 90s look better than the simple, classic 70s look?I'm starting to realize that I'm getting older and I have become "everything was better 30 years ago" guy.

:kicksrock:

EDIT: Look at that... again, I am a sucker for the stripes on the shoulders look!

That's precisely why LSU is one of my favorite CFB uniforms.
