OK, as a Saquon Barkley owner that's still looking to win my league, do I grab Gainwell off waivers for insurance, or snag Jerome Ford just because he's now the only back in town. I have an extra QB on roster (Purdy) that I'm dropping. I've got no doubts about Saquon, but if he does get hurt, or if they decide to rest him the last game of the FF playoffs (week 17), Gainwell could be a league winner, however, everyone is so high on Ford, and he's a pass catching back, he seems like a safer bet. The bottom line is, neither of them may even make it to my lineup, but they also won't be in my opponents' lineup.

Jerome Ford and it's not close. If Saquon gets hurt you are likley not moving on and even if you do I don't see Gainwell as an auto start in that situation. They will split with Shipley and Gainwell will be more a 3rd down guy. Gainwell is not a league winner. We know how Philly will use him because they have done it before.
