Best way to prepare an eye round steak? (1 Viewer)

Bought a few pounds from Aldi on the cheap. It's not a cut I'm familiar at all with cooking. I don't cook a lot of steaks and usually when I do it's more expensive cuts.

Sny suggestions or just pan sear it with some salt and pepper like I usually do?

Love me some jerky and I've got a few pounds to work with.
Cut in thin strips. Put in ziploc with marinade of your liking overnight. Next day put in oven at 170 for several hours til it is stiff but pliable. 

Takes a couple of tries to get down strip  thickness and judging when it's done. 

 
Going to try this another night.

I couldn't wait and just pan seared one. They were pretty thinly cut so they weren't very tough, nor were they tender but somewhere in between.
Pound it to 1/4 inch between two sheets of wax paper then season with salt garlic paprika and pepper then fry for 1 minute per side in very hot oil
