Best weekend in sports? (1 Viewer)

The best weekends are in late September and in October when we have pennant races/playoffs in baseball and the NFL and CFB seasons are in full swing. Final 4 weekend lines up with first week of baseball, all the weekends in December with CFB bowls and NFL games that mean a lot.

I've always been fond of the first weekend in May.

Kentucky derby

Nba playoffs

Baseball

Fight night

Masters week.

No schtick. I enjoy March Madness, a good pennant race, this weekend and the intensity of the Stanley Cup playoffs. But TBH nothing compares to the anticipation of magnolias & eagles.

Either this, or Halloween-ish weekend with the World Series and the NBA season both getting started.

NFL being in season helps, I guess, though with every passing year, I'm enjoying MLB and the NBA more and more and the NFL less and less.

NHL might also be kicking off around then too, but I wouldn't know.

The 4 major sports going at the same time and chicks dressing as slutty as they can. I'm not sure what more we could ask for.

First weekend of nfl is great. Usually golf tournaments and mlb are in full swing.

Also love World Series weekend for some reason as above.

Masters.

First week of March madness.

Week 16 (ff championship)

Wild card weekend - usually in Vegas for this.

Any weekend in October. Baseball playoffs plus heart of CFB plus Sunday NFL. Just nonstop action.

Opening weekend of the tournament in March.
I really love those 1 vs 16 matchups.
yeah, i don't get the love.. it's either a bunch of favorites crushing, or some horriffic bad beats because of some hot 3 point shooter on an otherwise crap team.

I used to say March Madness was great until I realized it wasn't as much about sports really as it was people's stupid brackets, and the fact that with that many games on they can whip around to only showing you close games and it feeds into the ADD aspect of society that needs constant action.

I quit watching that BS. I tune back in when we're at the elite 8 and usually the crap teams are gone.

So you can't enjoy it because of the way that others perceive and experience it?

Thanksgiving weekend is pretty good. Get to get great food all day thursday while watching football. Leftovers all weekend while you watch sports on saturday and sunday.

Some good mentions but Mmadness for me.

If you include Mondays final4/opening day and lately wild card round + cfb title game
