Biden's Bizarre, Creepy Interaction With Senator's Daughter (1 Viewer)

Once again, I'm reminded of FA Hayek's chapter, "Why The Worst Get On Top" from The Road to Serfdom.

Watch Vice Premiere Joe Biden skeeze on a 13-year old girl in this short video.

I'm not a big fan of Joe Biden, how this guy is a heartbeat away from the presidency is dumbfounding. However, I don't know what everyone is talking about. He's a politician, he shakes hundreds of hands a day, hugs, kisses, greets people. He was trying to be nice and give a little girl some extra attention. What he intended as probably an affectionate grandfatherly peck on the top of her head came off a little awkward. Hasn't anyone even had a weird should I hug this person, do I kiss this persons cheek, got caught somewhere in the middle moment with someone? Slightly embarrassing and awkward but it happens to everyone. Now imagine you greet dozens to hundreds of people a day and have cameras recording everyone moment. Things like this are bound to happen.

The saddest part is how much focus things like this get.... keep em divided and fighting and keep their focus off of what's really important.

What's really important?

I can't stand Biden, but this is stupid. Whatever he said, he said it in front of the girl's mother, and she didn't react . Seems like he was just being nice. What is creepy here?

There are better things to make fun of Biden about than this.

He didn't whisper in the ear of or try to kiss anyone else up there.

Calling him creepy is being gentle.

At 1:38, someone directs them to move over so that she isn't smushed against Biden's penis and her mother audibly thanks that person.

Seemed grandfatherly to me. I think he's known her and the family for a long while.

No, clearly Biden is a huge pedo who was trying to put the moves on a young girl in front of her parents and a bunch of photographers with the camera rolling.

Or maybe it's just the grandfatherly thing. Who knows.

Lemme guess....you voted for McCain, meaning you willingly voted for a man with numerous health scares at an advanced age, meaning Sarah Palin was your choice from being a heartbeat away from president. Sarah. Palin.

Sir, I defy you to defend that vote and explain to me how Palin is more qualified to lead this nation than Biden.

Just curious about your thoughts on this photo...or this series of verbal gaffes.

My favorite gaffe:

“I’m also told that, that Chuck Graham (WHO IS PARALYZED, BY THE WAY), state senator is here. Chuck? Stand up Chuck! Let ‘em see ya! Oh! God love ya. What am I talking about? I’ll tell you what, you're making everybody else stand up, old pal. Thank you very, very much. I’ll tell you what, stand up for Chuck! Thank you, pal. You can tell I’m new. Good to see you buddy.”

Didn't a few of the secret serice agents(women)claim Biden would skinny dip in front of them?

Joe is that creepy old uncle you always had to keep your eye on to make sure he wasn't ####### #### up.

It's universally applicable, but I've only mentioned it a couple times.

Enough for you to remember, though, so that's good.

I encourage anyone with an open mind to read it.

I don't remember espousing my support for Palin, how about neither of them are qualified to lead the nation but then neither is our current president. I don't like any of them.... Obama, McCain, Palin, or Biden.

Biden, who I actually defended (although I think I threw up in my mouth when I did it), happens to be the focus of this thread. You response seems a little over-reactive. Maybe you need some rest, perhaps a nap?

I think Biden is pretty much a tool but this is a total non-story. The guy is trying to make a young girl feel a little special. There are cameras and mikes everywhere so I highly doubt he was zeroing in on her like a predator.

But you voted for McCain, right? So to use your word - dumbfounding - I think you should look back to 2008 and ask yourself how on earth you could put somebody that incompetent a heartbeat away from the most important office in the world, where the man in front of her was far more likely than the current POTUS to keel over.

And overeactive is using words like dumbfounding to start your thread. You set the bar low, About Schmidt.
