The first time I saw this, I didn't know how it would last more than a season or two.  Anyway, I like it, but it's losing steam for me.

Dropped Showtime so not watching anymore. I found both female leading characters(the wives) very grading. Not sure weather it's the fact that I don't like either as actresses though.  There were several other characters I was meh on also(Axe and Wags included). Chuck was great, female assistant DA was great, liked Chuck's dad(played the ####### part really well), Lonnie was good. Just not enough there the keep me going back.

I kept waiting for Damien Lewis's wife to get naked (she is a complete smokeshow) but alas it never happened. I did kindof like the cartoonish way of showing Capital Investment Firms though. May give it one more episode.
She shows her boobies in Several movies

Just a little confused with the storyline about Chuck setting up Axe shorting the stock.  Did he still think the stock was going to make $$$ for him or did he know it was going to tank?  Was he willing to lose the original $$$ from his trust, but was blindsided by his dad putting all of the rest of his trust $$$ into the stock?  Now that his wife has joined Axe in the shorting of the stock, she will be in legal trouble also I guess.  I know that Axe shorting the stock wasn't illegal, but his actions to get the stock to collapse was something that Chuck was counting on Axe to do.   It is good entertainment, not sure how Axe will get out of this mess.

He knew it was going to tank, but there are remedies.  It's also possible (likely?) that the stock goes back up to normal once Axe is exposed.

Finally caught up on S2.

I get the mixed reviews posted on this show, I can understand why it's not for everyone. but I liked it a lot.  I think I liked S2 a little better than S1 but not by much.

The guy that plays the character "Wags".  (David Costabile) I haven't liked him in a single role I've ever seen him in, and in S1 I didn't care for him much either, but in S2 - he's such a good character.  A lot of fun to watch.

Just binged watch seasons 1 & 2. Enjoyed it. Like the sense of humor. And the continual random movie references.

Looking forward to season 3 starting on Sunday.

Kinda rooting for Chuck to wind up in jail, while Axe walks - prob impossible.

So what happened, did Chuck plant the evidence or not? Did he show Axe a decoy?

Axe: "I'm competitive. I always stay longer on the treadmill, last guy to leave the office."

Axe: (looks through office window at Taylor working furiously, looks down at his empty desk and computer monitor that only has current stock prices on it)

I enjoyed him firing Connerty.  Rest of the season, ho hum, but still good enough for me.  Feel like Showtime is forcing Taylor down our throats.

Agree, enjoying season 3 less than the first 2, but this is still prob my primary watch on TV right now.

Also agree, the firing of Connerty was great.

I also enjoyed watching him #### his ex wife, that was good.

I'd also like to give it to Wendy in her little office.

This show is hilarious.

Nothing serious about it.  So great.

The idea of Conerty getting the inside scoop, and potentially having revenge ammo vs. Chuck, was sweet.

Show is getting sillier but still entertaining. Why do casting agents keep giving us John Malkovich as a Russian dude though, you guys can't find someone else?

Soundtrack continues to be awesome.

Kinda wish this show in particular was more serious business.

Taylor is the most compelling person on the show for me. Lewis and Giamatti are both basically two sides of the same coin (which is kind of the point), I think the show could really bog down if it gets into the standard 8 seasons from SHO.

Wait there's guys who don't like this show? Not even being a wiseass, just that my friends and I have been in since S1E1 and love it

Loved the finale!

So awesome, I already can’t wait for the next season - how does anyone dislike this show?

If you haven’t seen the finale, stop reading here.

The AG, Dake, Connerty, & the chick railroading Chuck caught me off guard and couldn’t have been more awesome. The Taylor angle was already known from last week, but I’m excited to see how that materializes. Grigor is the only piece here I wish would just go away, if I’m being honest. I’m hoping the feedback is universal on that one so they don’t involve him next season, but I doubt it.

When all is said and done, I think Axe & Chuck win, but I wouldn’t mind seeing total destruction across the board.

Wags continues to be my favorite character.

It's a great show. The writing has been outstanding this year. Even better than last year.  I was a little underwhelmed by the finale though.

I did see this coming for Chuck though. Chuck usually has some move that no one (the audience, too) sees coming. This was too straightforward with not enough time to wrap this up smoothly. I guess the twist was that he had it coming this time. I didn't believe Connerty would just walk away either. I just knew that the General would be in his office. Something about the way the guy told Chuck to meet in Chuck's office smelled.

The Taylor angle has been in the works for weeks if not all season.

Agree, Wags rules. All the characters on this show rule with the exception of maybe Chuck and his annoying dad.

dad is awesome in small doses. the "damn the torpedoes" rant and the lecture during the post-nuptial agreement meeting were great.

Good finale and like where it's set up for next season, but I thought this season dragged a little during the early/middle portions.  It doesn't seem to be set up to jump forward in the timeline, which I like.

What was Thackers role in all this?

I assume Connerty brought her into the fold to protect her at some point.
You mean Sacker? Yeah I didn't understand why she turned on Chuck either. I thought she hated Jock even more than Chuck did.

I really like this show but I'm not sure why. I know next to nothing about attorney general and hedge fund offices and I find both male lead characters very unlikable. As has been mentioned several times Wags is great and maybe that's why i keep watching.

It seemed to me like Sacker was forced to choose a side and realized that turning on Chucks was her best course.  She looked uncomfortable standing next to Jock Jeffcoat (what a name!).  I too saw that coming a mile away.

Not sure I like Wendy turning on Taylor like that, but it'll be fun to watch next season.

Agree, get rid of John Malkovich's character - if I wanted to watch his Russian character, I'd watch Rounders.

Biggest disappointment for me this season was the lack of Lara.  Where was she all season?  She was brilliant in the first two seasons, as tough or dirty as any of the male characters.  Plus, she's beautiful.

Agree about Lara.

I wonder if Sacker and Connerty aren't somehow going after Chuck to get Jock to let down his guard so they can ultimately take him out. If so, it would show what good students of Chuck they were.

Yeah I really think this show has found its stride. Didn't love the early seasons but can't get enough now.

Wags is the best character on TV.

I thought the season was a little disappointing in the first half, but it picked up speed, and ended very well with the finale. Sets up next season to be very good.

They really had me with that Wendy and Axe tension...well done by the actors.  That's gotta go down at some point and might be how Axe prevails.

Agree that this season picked up towards the end.  Same as last season.

Seems like the next one could be its last the way it's set up....Taylor back at Axe Cap "working" for Chuck to bring Axe down.  Chuck and Axe are always a few steps ahead of everyone else, so will be interesting to see how their final dual goes down and if there will be a "winner" or both lose.  No point to jump ship now.
