Birthday Gift Ideas (1 Viewer)

Truth Commission

I am looking for a birthday present for a co-worker/friend. In the past, I've done simple things like candles, etc., but not looking for anything romantic, expensive, but any kind of creative, but thoughtful gift. I am buying for a female (42 years old).

I was going to complement the gift with a bottle of wine.

Any ideas?

Thank you for your help..

It would help if you can describe her, like what she wears/is into, what 'decor' does she have on her desk, like pics that show her doing a hobby? Something to give an idea as to what she enjoys. Also, does she have young kids?

She has 2 kids (I believe 7 or 8 years old, actually twins, one boy/girl). She is a Packer fan, from Wisconsin, now lives in Illinois, she is going skiing over the next week or so (if any ideas come from that)....dresses casually at works....I'm more friends with her at work, but we keep in touch outside of work, although don't really hang out. I think she would like things similar to candles, etc., but not sure what else I can think of for a gift.

If she's into candles then go for that and maybe add some bath salts so she can have relaxing baths after chasing them around all day. As for clothing type items, that's hit and miss. I've had internet friends send me stuff while battling cancer and God bless them but it just wasn't my taste. If she enjoys chocolates or good coffee, toss that in. I think a focus on someone with 2 young kids should be on enjoying time to self, which is what coffee/tea, chocolates, bath salts, candles for baths---would do.

I have a friend who gets me this every year. Delish!
