Actually thought season III was borderline great.  The first two seasons were hard to follow at times, Season III was straight awesomeness. 

The finale was great, loved that things got resolved and we get a mix of real-life characters such as Vane and Black Beard, and fictional pirates like Flint and Long John Silver. 

Season IV is in production now, this ship is sailing in the right direction.

Really disappointed this is the last season, I thought this thing was doing well in the UK. 

Putting anything on Starz is almost a death sentence, no one has that in their cable package apparently.

Yeah I think they were building it up.  I thought season 1 was good though because it may have had the most nudity, and there are a lot of good boobs in this show.

I paid like $9 for a 1 month Starz subscription through Amazon and binged seasons 2-3. It was well worth it.

Yeah I think they were building it up.  I thought season 1 was good though because it may have had the most nudity, and there are a lot of good boobs in this show. 

They really fell off in the rack department since season 1.  Why do they always screw this up?  There's a scene set in a whorehouse like every episode for god's sake

That was awesome. Two main characters killed off and it's not even the season finale. Although if I did have to point out one TWD moment it was when black bush was desperately seeking Elenor to save her from the Spaniards and she stumbles upon Jack at the beach:  If she was in such a hurry why did she ditch the horse 200 yards out just stroll up to him?

Why isn't anyone talking about this show?  Best show ever not watched by anyone in the FFA?

Overall disappointed with the final season,  kind of boring.  Was a good show in its entirety, I'd call it a solid 7.  Would be much higher if they sustained the level of nudity throughout, as well as more pirates doing piraty things.

I loved how they ended it tying up the Flint/Silver story line and leaving it open for a potential new series with Rackham, Anne, and Mary Read.  Great series

I loved the exchange between Captain Jack Rackham and the old sailor leading them to Skeleton Island.

This show was a good mix of fantasy (Long John Silver) and things that really happened (Rackham and Vane).  I'm fine with only four seasons but they probably could have made a fifth, but Starz can't be trusted in that regard.

I really enjoyed it.  At worst it was a fun story, the first season has some slow parts, but I enjoyed it.  Second and third seasons were excellent IMO, definitely worth a try if you are looking for something new.
