I usually like to do 3 mocks leading up to the draft but this year I decided to wait til the week before and put 1 mock out there and stand behind it.

I think we are going to see alot of trades in the draft this year due to the rookie pay scale. I think the teams in the latter of the draft might be moving up alitle more than in the past.

If Fletcher Cox is there at #9, I'm not sure why Carolina would trade out of that spot. Carolina has a huge need at DT.

Ha HaNew England is one of the best teams in the league IMO about seperating talent and off the field mistakes. they can always overlook problem childs if they benefit their team.I think Mik Adams would be a huge "yes" in their draft room

I think Carolina has alot of needs and DT is a very deep position in this draft. They could probbaly get some nice picks in exchange for this trade and get a very high quality pick in return. I hate that I didnt put what the teams trading flipflopped but I lost the website that showed that, sorry.if Carolina could pick up a 2nd and a 4th and still get Ingram I would think they would be giddy.

I can see Steelers drafting Fleener, putting him in at TE in 2TE sets, and possibly moonlighting at slot WR in some 3WR sets.

That sounds wonderful

perhaps... but if that's their thinking, they shouldve taken dez bryant 2yrs go, as opposed to trading with the Cowboys

The Pats drafted their LT of the future last year in Solder...I don't see them using another #1 on a tackle with Volmer and Solder penciled in as starters (assuming Light retires)...they have also said they are moving Cannon to tackle as well...I never have an issue going O line early but with their current roster and defensive weaknesses I don't see them going tackle this high...

I thought Volmer was going to be used as a guard. I did this move due ot the news of the Light retirement. If I am wrong about Volmer thats my fault

Dez's concern wasnt drugs or alot of kids or stupid stuff like that, it was he was a premadonna he isnt that smart and cant read a route to safe his life.

I would probably agree with that. If they could get that much for seven spots I could definitely see them do it. Hurney did say that they are interested in moving down, but not up.

Volmer is the RT as far as I know (unless Cannon can beat him out)...haven't heard anything locally about him going inside...they signed Connolley to starter money...not sure if he will be at C or G...Koppen is back for another year and with Mankins nicked up and Waters still a question (although all rumors I have heard is he is returning) he will probably be the swing guy this year and start at either C or G in 2013...they also signed Gallery and I hear they are very high on Donald as well...I wouldn't be surprised to see them add another lineman or two in the draft (especially if Waters retires)...I just don't think it will be at tackle as early as you have it with the holes they have on D...

I think Ingram is best suited for a 3-4.I hope the panthers trade down and get Decastro, Kirkpatrick or gilmore

My concern about Adams at 22 isn't the missteps off the field - it's that his performance doesn't merit being picked that early.

I think they will take Janoris Jenkins if he falls. People describe Jenkins as a Asante Samuel clone like that is a bad thing. The commentators at the draft would be all over it. I can imagine LaCanfora giggling with glee as he describes how the Patriots got another steal and how the New Englands mature locker room is equipped to handle immature players like Jenkins. Another stroke of genius by Bill.

why in the world would the Packers trade out of the first round? What, they don't have enough picks in the 4th round as it is?

If anything I see the Packers trading up for an OLB.

Trading down is about as crazy a projection as them taking a RB in R1.
