huh? So his mocks were off(I guess that's what you're saying) and that's all you looked at at nfldraftguys? Did you miss the article or player comments/commentaries?

Sig, What do you have on Tommy Higgins? I just saw some highlights of this little burner. Any thoughts on his transition as a pro?

I'm beat fellas. Between the draft and the Spurs win I think I drank a 12 pack on my own. G'night all. :bag:

Will be back tomorrow for day 2.

Thanks for everything NFL Draft Guys.

Helped me two days ago in my rookie draft.

Player rundowns will help me in the fall too.

Can't wait for your post draft analysis.

Bloom...How was your access? How many podcasts/vlogs did you net?Are you boozing it soon?Is Dodds having a blast?
great access, we tried to get the five, but they didnt have time for us.NFL moms on the pod cast, we got goodell on am 950dodds is loving itno booze for bloom

the rb's that went today ..

whats your quick ranking Bloom ...
ADLynch

Jackson

Booker

Henry (strictly for opp)

Leonard

Hunt
My thinking here - is this only serves to bolster LenDale's stock. My thinking - Henry (in most people's opinion) is not NFL caliber RB - just a RB that performed well at the combine but little on gameday. Similar to Trung Canidate.
Did I miss Lendale proving he was?

Will Craig Davis emerge as a true #1 in San Diego, surpassing V. Jackson?
He has the potential, but it will take polish. I really thought Rice would have been a better pick there.

Will Rice actually be the guy that can catch out of the Minny WR's? And, will he emerge as a true #1?
I believe Rice will emerge as a true #1, and I would rank him no lower than #6 for upcoming rookie drafts.

love Higgins, I would compare him to a rawer Mark Clayton.

Okwo? Does he have speed? Where you all going to dinner?
Okwo was drafted to have leverage over Briggs, he looks like a nice fit for the WLB in that D.we ate at liberty cafe on 3rd ave b/w 50th and 51st.

Bloom, man, I';m glad you're dedicated. But go to freakin bed, brother.

Else you might post a blog entry that reads 'I can't believeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....'

If you didnt notice alot of mocks turned out to be pretty incorrect. And you cant fault a guy for trying, lets see what your mock looked like. O and Scott Wright and Andy Dufrense are two totally different people, and now you know. And knowing is half the battle

Bloom, what's your opinion of Mario Henderson? The Florida State OT the Raiders moved up to get in the 3rd round. Thanks.
Mario has the perfect frame and very nice athleticism - he looks like a NFL LT on the move, popping out of his stance, mirroring a pass rusher... however, he has been inconsistent and never really put it all together.Definitely a reach but the kind of LT that teams always reach for. Wishful thinking dictates that you see the shutdown LT the guy could become if the light bulb turns on, so you feel urgency to take him a round or two before his actual worth.

Apologies if you've addressed this already & I missed it... What was your take on Justin Harrell to the Packers @ 1.16?

After reading different reviews of him, and being quite frustrated - I just read teh list of USA Today's Sports Weekly. They had him ranked 3rd among DT's, and 26th overall. Maybe the Pack didn't overpay so much afterall.

No 1st day RB for the Falcons. What does this tell ya? Bush coming in the 4th maybe? Roster seems a little thin with Dunn aging...

Sig

Tell me that Kenny Irons can handle a full time role if Rudi Johnson gets injured (GASP). Tell me that we didn't pass on Charles Johnson, Tank Tyler, Tanard Jackson, Sabby Piscatelli, etal for a change of pace guy that the coaches say (paraphrasing only slightly) "will increase our likelihood of long runs".

Tell me that taking Irons instead of taking a deal like the Cowboys took just behind (moving back to a third and fourth) and grabbing a player like Darius Walker or DeShawn Wynn with another defensive player was a smart idea.

Tell me Bloom, tell me.

very nice pick. I had him going somewhere from 18 to 23. He lifted 225 31 times, showing his torn biceps was sound. He's a fiery leader and a disruptor in the middle of the line who will free up barnett to make plays.

Bloom, if you're still on this subject...

Thoughts on the Lions last two 2nd round picks, Alama-Francis and Alexander? They struck me as big-time reaches to me, but I was glad to see defense addressed. Opinions?

LOVE alama-francis. In 2 years he will be the same player as Jamaal Anderson - among the 10-15 highest ceilings in the entire draft.Alexander was horrible reach and I just cant explain why they would covet that guy that much.

Bloom,

Can you please rank the 4 strip clubs you all visited.

Was Scores the reach of the night, and how do think they will fair from a dynasty perspective?

TIA

:wall:

Good job guys,

Day 2 take over soon under way :bs:

Why is everyone so down on the Spaeth pick?

They need a second TE as I heard they are going to run more 2 TE sets. The kid can block which will help them in short yardage situations, which was one on the weak spots last year. He is also a nice red zone target at 6-7. God knows we need more red zone targets!

Yes I really, really wanted them to trade up for Kalil but I think this pick was solid.

They could have gotten him in the 5th, and there are about 40 guys like him in the NFL already.

Irons is an RBBC back imo, but he was close to feature back load in 05. But I thought a classic 3rd down back like Leonard or Booker.

I don't usually say things like this, in this way, but......you're an idiot.I've seen lots and lots of mocks that were off. So?

bingo...or several other TE's. You think the Steelers will make some OL picks today? I'm not sure that any of the OL guys left are better than what's already on the roster. Of the RB's left, which one would make most sense for the Steelers?
