Bortles\Stafford (1 Viewer)

Two QB start dynasty with standard QB scoring-

Was offered M Stafford for Bortles and 34th overall pick.

....but with Bradley out of Jacksonville, who knows what to expect from the next head coach...Stafford is four years older going into '17(29 v 25) and is the guy in Detroit. Bortles is going into his final year of his contract.

Question is: is Bortles worth holding on to just to see what the next coach can maybe do with him? Or trade for Stafford, knowing what he is every year(QB6-13)

Already own Rodgers so have a great QB1

Feel like this is a no brainer....am I overlooking something?

In a two qb league I would definitely take that. I think they'll bring in a coach to "fix" Bortles. He'll maybe get some offseason hype from it and he'll go back out there and play the same way he did this year at best.

I am assuming there are no other items associated with Stafford vs Bortles.  By that I mean no salary cap hit or round loss that gives additional value to one over the other.  If it is just player for player I would much rather have the Stafford side of the equation.  He is an outstanding QB2 for a two QB league and Bortles is very iffy.  Get Stafford and then you can work on other aspects of your team as you will be set at QB.

I would take the Stafford side.  Bortles could rebound but Stafford has proven to be consistently good and has several seasons ahead of him yet.
