Brad Johnson (1 Viewer)

DET @ MIN.

DET is allowing opposing QB's a league high 121.9 passer rating.

DET is 28th in passing yards allowed (282.0).

DET has allowed the most passing TDs (10).

 Brad Johnson in week 5

was thinking the same thing myself. This is one of the best match-ups he's going to face.

Hopefully TWill can catch the f'n ball this week.

I would suggest picking him up for the rest of the season....

DET twice

GB twice (once in the playoffs)

MIA

SF

STL (during playoffs)

:goodposting: for all.

Brad Johnson's been on my roster since the preseason, but think he's a great free agent pick up. I think he's a solid and often overlooked fantasy backup. He'll remain on my roster the rest of the way.

With Michael Vick being my only starting QB and on bye this week I traded for BJ because of this matchup alone.

I think this is a good decision, the Vikings are through the toughest stretch of their scedule (@Wash, Car, Chi, @Buff).

How would you compare Brad to Chad going forward? MIA twiceDETCLEHOU GBOAKActually, until week 17, playing match-ups with these two could work out well...

Pardon a slight hijack to get homer perspective on another portion of the MIN passing attack looking forward. Williamson looked dreadful with his drops in week 1 - seems to try to catch with his arms instead of his hands. Any sign this is getting better? Is the bigger game for Robinson (and wiggins and TTaylor) last week a sign of things to come? Williamson keeps getting lots of targets, but does not seem to produce much from them. Is he option 1, or just one amongst 3-4 options? Also - a bit more on topic... With the schedule they face, any chance that the running game is also successful and they play conservative and just not pass very much despite the tasty passing matchups?

Mine too - he's part of my three-headed QBBC monster - McNair, BJohn, ASmithI was REALLY counting on my original QB1 (Tren Green) to actually play this year, but since he's likely out for quite a while, i'm stuck with these 10-12 point scorers.I'm hoping for 20 points from BJ this week.

Interested in this as well. Picked up Johnson and traded for williamson becuase of their nice schedule. I thought Williamson got off to a good start and could have had some big games if he did not drop so many balls. I am wondering after last week's lackluster game if Brad is not trusting him. I was going to start. him this week but now I'm holding off. Any info from minny homers would be appreciated.

We will also find out how Chester Taylor is.... He was ok-good against GOOD teams... now this is the measuring stick, he should own these guys.

I've got Vick on a bye and Brad sitting on the bench...worked out perfectly.

I don't have to go spend cash on the wire this week. Now let's hope it plays out as well as it appeared to be planned out.

In my lone TD-only league, I'm starting Johnson over Bledsoe. Just love Johnson's matchup too much to not start him...

BJ hasn't attempted less than 30 passes in a game this season. You do that against Detroit and good things will happen.

:thumbup:I am actually hoping he plays like a top-12 FF QBs over the next six weeks (Det bye @Sea NE @SF GB) and solidifies that part of my lineup. All of those games look like games where BJohn could have 250/2 - or better.
