Brad Jones? (1 Viewer)

Brad Jones, Practiced fully today, and looks to be a GO for sunday vs.Minnesota. Should I start him over my other options at LB? LaMarr Woodley was my top choice because of a nice matchup against Oakland based on sack potential but he doesn't produce many tackles. My other options are K.J. Wright @ St.Louis and Joplo Bartu @Arizona. Need one out of the four, Thanks.

I would guess that means Lattimore's role takes a bit hit? Jones and Hawk in the nickel I suppose. Wonder who will make the defensive calls and who would stay in if they went to six DBs. I would think Jones if healthy, although not sure how healthy he is plus Hawk had that monster game two games ago.

Personally, I decided not to start him again until he proved he was healthy. Guy has burned me all year in one league. But compared to your other options I'd probably go with him. The other 3 are pretty big gambles in themselves.

Guess I can cancel my waiver claims for Lattimore?

Yep

Yep and Yep.

Maybe- but I don't think it's a lock Brad Jones goes this week. Hopefully, we get some clarity today or tomorrow.

--ILB Brad Jones (hamstring) returned to practice Wednesday and did so on a full-time basis, though head coach Mike McCarthy indicated afterward that Jones didn't do much. "We just wanted to ease him back into it," McCarthy said. Jones has missed the last two games, giving way in the starting lineup to Jamari Lattimore, who has played well.

Brad Jones was a limited participant in Thursday's practice. He was Probable now he is Questionable. Green Bay has had a ton of hamstring injuries this year. They have been extra cautious with Morgan Burnett, Casey Hayward and Clay Matthews. They lost Bishop in his prime to a torn hamstring. As a fan that pays close attention to the team I would not be shocked if they held him out again. Just an educated guess though.

Thanks, kind of tricky with GB playing Sunday night. Brandon Spikes, Joplo Bartu, LaMarr Woodley,KJ Wright and his backup Lattimore still available. Which one should I start instead?

I'm in a similar situation. I have B. Jones so I picked up Lattimore. I'm playing whoever starts. It's annoying to use two roster spots but the way I see it whoever has been playing in the middle for GB has produced.

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel-2 hours ago (2:10 am EST 10/15)

Inside linebacker Brad Jones was a limited participant (Thurs) after going full on Wednesday, though McCarthy indicated the team was only monitoring his reps.

My league that I dropped him in is still asleep on him so I am going to let him have his dud against Minnesota as nobody is performing against them these days and pick him up next week if he's healthy. Roster spots are so at a premium this week in next.

Reports are Jones will be back for tomorrow...just wonder if he goes back to 3 down LB or if Lattimore steals downs?

He was eased back in. 43/77 snaps. 56%

Lattimore was in on just 23 snaps at 30%. But he also got a ton of special teams work with 23 additional snaps there.

I'd like to see a breakdown of the snaps because it looked like he was playing every snap the first half of the game and completely off the field the 2nd half. I was wondering if he got hurt again.

43/77 is exactly right, as per game book.

He played almost every minute except final drives of each half and 3rd downs.

Lattimore was complete non-entity in any fashion. Even the coaches figured it out in the end. Jones didn't look "sudden" as he has previously but he is coming off a hammy injury.

Cant see why he wont be a full timer if he is fully healthy. He has lots of flexibility between him and Hawk switching positions constantly, where as Lattimore was almost always WILB, never SILB and played "small".

With Henderson mysteriously out, I think I'll give Jones a try hoping he bumps that snap count up and is closer to 100% this week.
