Brad Smith (1 Viewer)

So now he is the number 2 on paper in buf. he did pretty good last game and had 7 tgts. steve johnson had 13 and david nelson had 8. he finished with 4/77/1td. Anyone that watched him at wr, how did he look? Ive always wondered why the jets or buf havent used him more than a wildcat qb. So he is the #2wr, kr/pr?, and a wildcat rb/qb. seems like a lot of upside.

Things that he has going for him is that CJ hasnt proved to be a threat in the running game yet, which may lead to more passing. There is all this talk that the bills shouldnt have paid fitz all that money and have the option to release him so they dont have to pay them. fitz has gotta be playing with a chip on his shoulder and playing to keep his contract. Chan has been good for maximizing or catering to his players talents. Smith is a very athletic player that really hasnt had a chance to show what hes got.

any jets or bills homers have anything to add as far as his wr skills?

I dont really expect much but just something to keep an eye on.

I dont wanna keep bumping this BUT 1st time as a starter he did good so fluke, maybe? 2nd time snags 7 receptions. Coincedence? He has a nice schedule that favors wr's. This could be the last week u can get him cheap if he has another good game.

Eta. Just checked top 250 and hes now 33 what will he be next week with another good game

I took the plunge and dropped Manningham for him today. I doubt he will start for me unless I have an injury, but I think he is a good ppr flex play going forward.

The Philadelphia Eagles plan to sign wide receiver Brad Smith on Tuesday, pending a physical, according to a team source.

Smith, who was an impact player in certain situations for the Jets, became a free-agent a few days ago following a short stint with the Bills. Buffalo signed him as a free agent under a former coaching regime, and injuries derailed him this season.

Smith, however, got healthy enough to pass a physical last week and was released from IR by Buffalo. The Eagles, who run a lot of spread formation stuff under Chip Kelly, have suffered through several injuries to receivers and Smith's Wildcat skill set fits their offense well.

Kind of an out of nowhere signing, which WRs have the Eagles lost?
