Bradley injured during argument (1 Viewer)

I watched this game and was completely baffled as to the whole argument, as were the announcers.

They even showed replays of Bradley chirping to the ump behind the plate about the first base umpire before the at bat. Home plate umpire was talking back to him and smiling. Bradley is a weird bird.

Guy's a total idiot. I don't care if the umpire unleashed expletives at him. Side note... Did he flip his bat at the home plate umpire?

:goodposting: Apparently he did. Hey Milton, go YouTube Delmon Young in Pawtucket last year. It's a tip, don't throw bats near umpires.

I just wonder how management wouldn't have sat him down and said, "Milton, you have no room for error. If you ever feel the anger rising and decide to argue with an umpire or a fan or act out, you better realize that we will assume you're acting in the wrong if you do ANYTHING but walk away, silently." I would say that I didn't care if there were a bench clearing brawl or someone spit in his face... He is instructed to turn the other cheek, go into the dugout and blow off the steam there, away from the players, fans and cameras. Or be benched.

Maybe such a talk occurred. Maybe it was less severe. Shouldn't have been and I agree with the above post that something like this was a matter of time.
