Brady (16)/Ajayi (7) for Rodgers (25)/Gordon(11)? (1 Viewer)

Hey everyone!

I'm in my first auction and first keeper league and have a trade offer I just can't decide on. My original plan was to drop Rodgers to open cap and save at QB and keep only Melvin, but an offer for Brady and Ajayi to save me $13 seems legit. Total budget is $100.

What should I do!?

Non-PPR, only one RB (and a FLEX) for starting positions. Other than that, things are pretty standard.

I'm not a fan of keeping Qb's at all do u have any other keeper options?  or a different player u can get off him besides brady? Gordon at 11 is a great keep  but so is ajayi at 7, I think Rodgers at 25$ is way to high,

also remember in ur second year most players are going to cost more as people have usually kept players under market value thus freeing up more $$

The trade is fair but I don't know if I do it.  How many keepers can you do?  Based on the QB prices it looks like everyone overspent on QB's in your league.  That is a key piece of info to know moving forward.  Some leagues spend heavy in certain areas while you can get value elsewhere.  How many teams in the league?  If this is a 10 teamer then I probably keep Gordon and let Rodgers go as you will be able to get a decent QB regardless.  If this is a 16 team league then I probably make the trade and save the space and keep both guys. 

Too many variables to affect the decision.

I agree with most of what Gally said. I would also say if this is a 10 or 12 team league then see if you can get Jay for rodgers without trading Gordon. I'd rather take those two at their prices then any combination of RB with a QB above.

Gally makes some great points (as he usually does!)

looking  at the trade in a vacuum....absolutely take it.  Brady/Ajayi will not be much different than Gordon/Rodgers for this year and saving 13% of your cap is huge.  That gives you a chance at bidding on a stud (if available)....or it can really help you land Fournette or other rookie RBs that you might like.
