I have Brandon Chillar in an IDP 32 dynasty fantasy league. Does anyone know who is next in line to get the snaps now that Brandon Chillar is out with a broken hand???

I would definitely wait a week or 2 before cutting bait on Chillar. I've seen more than one instance of a player suiting up & playing well with a cast.Shoot, Ted Hendricks & da Raidahs of yester year used to play with casts without having any broken bones!

Desmond Bishop springs to mind and the next most likely guy in line though the good doctor or someone could confirm that for sure.

He was in the pre season. Poppina doesn't cover the TE well enough to do it. I'm not sure how Bishop does. Jeremy Thompson is the other one who comes to mind McCarthy: Chillar Has Hand Surgery, Will Miss A Couple WeeksPackers coach Mike McCarthy is set to speak with reporters shortly in the Lambeau Field media auditorium. We'll have the newsy stuff as it comes, so refresh for the latest.* LB Brandon Chillar had surgery on his broken hand. He'll be back in a couple of weeks with a club

I'm too lazy to find a link, but the article I first read on this said AJ Hawk and Desmond Bishop would see increased snaps with Chillar out. The same article also suggested Chillar wouldn't be out the entire season. I'll try to find a link

Bishop played nearly every down after Chillar's injury. The Packers have used a number of hybrid formations -- a 46-like front I detailed last week in my column and the 35 front they've used off an on -- that could give Hawk some extra snaps, but I'd think it unlikely that Hawk gets a bunch more snaps. I think we'll see Bishop move into the same role Chillar was playing.

:coffee: Thanks.Desmond Bishop has to be wondering what he has to do to earn playing time. It looked like he'd finally impressed the coaches enough to get snaps in the second half last week.
