2 minute offense... defenses have to respect ward coming out of the backfield as a receiver... with jacobs, defenses know he's going to stay in and block
as a jacobs owner, i'm very happy the giants were able to score at the end of the 2nd (with or without jacobs)... now they can come out of halftime and run their base offense and not abandon the run

Ward is playing a little more then usual tonight. He started the second drive that Jacobs capped off with the bad ### td run. A little surprised by that.

ward and jacobs typically alternate drives... what's atypical is NY playing from behind forcing them to run their spread offense

Usually it's a 2-1 ratio but nothing it written in stone.

it's 2:1 because the giants were forced to go to the spread formation where ward or bradshaw ususally come in as passing options out of the backfield... if the score were close, ward and jacobs would be alternating every possession, with jacobs coming in at the GL...jacobs in after halftime, and eli makes an horrible throw... hopefully this forces the OC to call more running plays

From the the games I watched it's two drives Jacobs one drive Ward. Ward on third down and more carries if the Gants are winning late in the game.. Jacobs is the gl back.

Sounds about right, but he's in ATM.
Why in the hell didn't the Giants run the ball more. I don't care if it was Jacobs or Ward (24 rushes for168 yards), the Browns could not stop the run. The Giants stopped themselves. Did Brad Childress get traded for Coughlin?First time watching the Giants
