Per Rotoworld:

Bears agreed to terms with FS Brandon Meriweather on a one-year contract.

Implications for Chris Harris and Major Wright. Is this an indictment of Wright, a red flag that Harris is slipping or just a signing for depth at safety? Meriweather would allow Harris to play his natural SS spot if that's the route the Bears choose.

Bears have used a safety rotation in the past so I wouldn't be surprised if they work out some way to play all 3, making it tough to figure out which guy to play from week to week.

I think Major Wright has been a weak spot in the preseason though so he's probably the most vulnerable.
