Brian Cushing (1 Viewer)

Short answer, Yes based on your scoring system and starting requirements.

I know some will look at him as a SLB and say its just not good for a fantasy LB or that last year may of been a fluke somehow but I would disagree. I watched him plenty last year and this guy is the real deal. Just has a nose for the ball. He is in on every play it seems. With Houston offense on the rise, they will be ahead in many games and teams will be forced to throw. This will continue to give Cushing plenty of big play opportunities.

I would temper expectations a bit though with him. Top 10 LB may be a stretch year to year but I can see him landing anywhere between 10-20 annually with the latter probably his floor.

Just my  of course

total Beast and never comes off the field. Would be an easy pick for me.
Just traded witten for him and Jared Allen in a start 5-2flex idp lineup. Matching them with Willis and ybell. Need a TE now. But well rounded everywhere else. Losing Willis next year. Hoping cushing becomes that bell cow in future years

my main reason for asking is my league just made LB position specific. we have to now start 2 MLB & 2 OLB in a 3-4

my roster now looks like this:

MLB:

willis

d ryans

d harris

j beason

r malauga

t mckenzie (ne)

OLB:

j harrison

l briggs

leroy hill

b chillar

I was approached by an owner w/ an offer that was pretty much cushing for d ryans. seems to easy though.

thoughts.

thanks

Under the circumstances I'd probably trade Cushing for Ryans.

Sometimes it is just easy :blackdot: Do the deal. You got elite talent at ILB already. Losing Ryans won't hurt you but gaining Cushing will improve you OLB. No brainer to me.

Yeah - I think you are safe to go with Willis and Beason at MLB. :boxing:

Cushing, Harrison and Briggs will make your OLBs almost as good as your MLBs as well.

got it done!

got a 2011 4th as well and dumped a bad contract on him.

thanks for the advice guys
