Garyb Cobb is reporting on WIP here in Philly that Brian Westbrook and Reggie Brown willl NOT make the trip to San Fran this week. With the bye coming up they are gonna let Westbrook heal.

No link, just hearing on radio now

So if both Curtis and Brown sit, who benefits most besides Jackson? Baskett or Lewis? This offense is going to need to rely on somebody.

Just confirmed on Sirius NFL radio
ESPN as well. Traded for Jackson yesterday. Good timing with Bowe off. Think Jackson has a good game and Curtis as well if he's playing, which it sounds like he is. Think Curtis will be eased back in? Would that give Baskett another chance?

As a Westbrook owner, I'm glad. I'll have to pray that the likes of Chester Taylor can make hay this week. I'd rather Westbrook get healthier with the ribs and even moreso the ankle, even if it takes a few weeks. Need him to be a stud the 2nd half of the year. Frustrating so far.

I can't imagine a plane ride to SF and back would be enjoyable for a guy with fractured ribs. Sitting him out this week plus the bye next week makes perfect sense. Nice that the game is so far away so they had to make this decision early.

After two weeks rest, what is the feeling on how much he heals? This has to be great for the ankle.. Does this give the ribs enough chance to heal to the pt where he's not questionable to miss more starts?

So is Buckhalter the guy to have in a ppr or Booker?
Remains to be seen if Buck has real value (or any Westy backup). Aside from one drive v. Chicago, Buck did very little -- and even couldnt push it in the endzone. I've always been a Booker fan, so in dynasty, I like him. Buckhalter probably has a better chance to have a better game Sunday. Wide range of points he could put up, however.

I would say Buckhalter is a good start, weeks 3 and 4 he had good fantasy numbers 87 and 90 total yards and a td in both games 8 total catches. He is a good start this week with Westbrooke out.

Smart move. Let him get healthy over the bye week, so he is ready to go week 8.

Who is Westbrooke?

You've got to put your money on Buckhalter. Booker has provided very little hope of being fantasy relevant. To me, he has been a major disappointment.

Booker had 3 touches that game and all 3 (I believe) came during the time Buckhalter missed in the 3rd quarter due to injury. As for Buckhalter's performance, only Baltimore and Pittsburgh are allowing fewer rushing yards per game.

Booker and Hunt might get 2 or 3 carries each.

Booker might get a couple screen thrown his way.

Buck will get most of the carries...prolly round 18

Buck will also get some receiving yards

Buckhalter is a decent start this week if you need someone.

Buckhalter has scored 20 vs. Steelers and 16 vs. the Bears in my PPR league. Booker didn't log a carry. How far out exactly do you look in Dynasty formats. I'd think it will be several years until Booker is anything more than a third stringer/special teams guy for the Eagles. Westy isn't old and Buck is there. I think Buckhalter is the guy to have. Of course, I could be wrong, but during Westbrook's injuries this season, Buck has picked up the slack.

I've had him in my lineup over Tomlinson since Tuesday.I'll probably punk out and put LT back in... but I won't be surprised of Cbuck has 70 rushing and 70 receiving with 2 scores this week.

Im considering the same move but just can't do it.The last time I took LT out, he went for 67 and 2 TDs in week 3

I sat him that week too... for LenDale. Only outscored him by 4 or so and I won by like 30 points. One of the main reasons I'm itching to put Tomlinson in is because I'm going against the defending champ, who had LT2 last year (and BARELY made it past me to reach the bowl... total fluke!)... and he's also my 2nd biggest rival in that league... and he's the 2nd highest scoring team while I'm in 3rd by like 10 points.I think C-Buck's floor is actually higher than LT's this week... so if I were going up against a garbage team I'd definitely start him... but in this case I should probably live or die by the LT.

I won that week as well so it really did not matter...

are we sure that Curtis won't play at all?
All I heard is he wasn't making the "team flight". He could after all , take his own flight, with a connection. Course if he gets an exit row... then the ribs could tighten up.
