Westbrook owner here... I think there's virtually no chance he plays this week. All the reports I've seen come out of the Eagles seem like a poorly disguised attempt to make the Giants prepare for Westbrook even though he won't play. The whole thing is pretty silly really, as I doubt it changes the Giants game plan much at all either way.
id blitz a hell of a lot more with mccoy in there
 This. McCoy has struggled picking up the blitz. One play stands in in my mind from MNF last week where he whiffed on a block and McNabb got buried.I think McCoy starts, Westbrook does not dress. Just trying to play it off so the G-Men don't know. As for Westbrook owners, the overall signs look good. 3-4 days after the incident, Westbrook's headaches are gone and he is back exercising/working out. Seems like he will be back week 9 and with less wear and tear on his wheels for the stretch drive.

(Rotoworld) After missing his third straight day of practice Friday, Brian Westbrook (concussion) was listed as "questionable" on the Week 8 injury report.

Analysis: Coach Andy Reid says the Birds are still awaiting test results on Wesbrook's head. He has not been medically cleared yet, and no one covering the team expects him to play. Look for LeSean McCoy to start against the Giants' top-five run defense. McCoy is averaging just 3.6 yards per carry this year.

Ouch. Westy I play against anyone. McCoy has not shown me that. If (when) Westbrook is out, I am not sure I plug in Shady over my other options. I think the projections re: McCoy are too high. He is NOT as productive as Westbrook in any phase of the game.

Just heard Reid on Mike on WFAN 660.

Paraphrasing him here: He was better today than yesterday, we want him to be in a good spot, we won't get him hurt. Mike asked if they were at the mercy of the doctors, Reid basically said yes, they trust their staff.

Cryptic, yes. Going to be a GTD it seems.

Anyone have any statistical data of RBs playing one week after suffering a concussion? Has that ever happened before? Ciruos to see how well they played.
