Brice Butler - WR; Traded to Dallas (1 Viewer)

I like Brice Butler.  He is another big target with good hands.  He played pretty well with Dallas.  I am curious to see how he does for a full season.
Isn't this his third season with Dallas? Why should we expect anything different than what we have seen at this point?

It would have been had he not gone to the Cardinals. ;)
Oh, did not remember that. Thanks.

So do we expect him to be better on a worse team, learning a new offense with a fragile dink'n'dunk QB and a rookie playing behind one of the worst offensive lines in the league?

Everyone on the roster is learning a new offense.

I know. I don't see how that helps Brice Butler be anything other than what he is or that it increases his upside from everything we have seen in his career so far.

Now if he had gone to Carolina maybe I could be convinced that with Norv and Cam's big arm he could be a latter day Alvin Harper.

But in Arizona with Captain Checkdown and the rookie in Mike McCoy's limited offense? Color me not having Butler on my redraft board.

Seems to me like Rosen will start.

Not until Bradford gets hurt. So probably week two of the preseason.

I fail to see how any of these QBs, or any QB in the league, is somehow a material benefit to Brice Butler becoming more than what he has been for the past five seasons.

Yeah, idk. But just saying it probably won't be Captain Check Down tossing him passes this year, if that means anything.

Well a role as a starter would give him more upside than being in Dallas where the coaching staff prefers non-playmakers like Terrence Williams, Jason Witten and Cole Beasley.

He’s far from a sure thing but he has a nice size/speed combo and he’s looked good when he gets a chance. He has a chance to break out a bit as a starter in Arizona.

Fair enough.
