Broke it about 6 weeks back had surgery on April 1, thankfully my left elbow. Doing PT 2x a week + the exercises they gave me but...

man, this seems like a long process to even be able to extend and "biceps curl" fully - both directions - all the way.

Just curious if anyone else here has gone through this, tips, lessons learned etc.

I knew there was going to be a price to pay for that 2nd Eagles Super Bowl....

I mean I'm the one with the broken elbow lol

But yeah I guess I'm lucky it is not the right one. Broke my wrist 26 years back, that one sucked more at the time, but I was 19 now i'm 45 so the healing rate is a little slower

I have no similar personal experience but one of my granddaughters broke both her elbow and her wrist maybe 2-3 months ago. Elbow break was near the end of the radius, and wrist break (also the radius) was very near the hand. She's been doing PT for maybe 6 weeks and is elated because the doctor will now allow her to drive. She won't get her full hand movement back ever (how much the hand can bend away from the arm) but is happy as hell at the movement she currently has regained. Her elbow will regain full movement, she no longer needs a sling, and she's happy as hell about PT and the improvements she's getting.

Not the same as your injury, but if any of it helps.......
