I'm confident in my Brownies this weekend. This isn't the same team we witnessed back in Week 1.

Browns 27, Steelers 24

It's never the same Browns team that the Steelers clobbered the last time.

Good luck, hope to see you back in here after the game Sunday.

As a Steeler fan, I am glad we are in such lofty company as the Pats and Indy to get one of these "Someone punches us in the mouth" threads, etc. After all, I have yet to read a "Buffalo punches Miami in the teeth" or "Arizona kicks St Louis in the face" threads. We should be honored.

Oh yeah, and Brownie fan?

Steelers 35-12

Is this like that James Bond movie where they punch 'Jaws' in the teeth, and he just grins to reveal steel teeth?

I was going to say it's like in Cannon Ball Run (IIRC - someone please find this video) where Bradshaw gets punched in the teef. Bradshaw simply spits out the toof, grins showing his new grill sans said toof, and then proceeds to tear up the room.I hope it'll be like that kind of punch in the mouf.

I think the movie was Hooper not CR.

Not going to happen, the Browns are pretenders in the big picture of the AFC. I have no care about this game or the two teams. Browns are a MID second tier team and the Steelers will beat them period. Good improvement for the Browns this season though. What are the Browns going to do at QB next year. Ya think they want to get back their #1 pick in 2008?

As a Browns fan I realize that a Browns win this week will be looked at as one of the top 3 upsets in the league so far. However, each game following this one is definitely winnable. This team has a more than legit shot at a wild card.

Ah yes. The terrible towel.Nothing says intimidation like table linens.
Intimidation? The Brownies know nothing about intimidation.Intimidation is having a 15-3 record against the expansion Brownies, and winning the last 8 straight. Intimidation is beating the Brownies like a mule from 1970-1985 STRAIGHT. :goodposting:  :lmao: :bye: :towelwave: :towelwave: :towelwave: :towelwave: :towelwave: :towelwave: :towelwave: :towelwave: :towelwave: :towelwave: :towelwave:

think this has a good chance at being a close game. i think we can be passed on and edwards, winslow and JJ are a good 3. i think we should be able to shut down the run as usual, but seeing us giving up a big play or 2.

i still think the steelers do enough to win, but i think anderson is a different guy than the last time we faced him.

steelers in a close 1.

Yes the Browns could very well make the a WC spot and that is a great story in Cleveland but they have a less then zero% chance to make any noise in the AFC. They gota get better on defense. They are in the wrong conference.

No, actually what says intimidation is 8 straight beatings with an avg margin of victory of 17 pts dating back to week 5 of 2003. At that time we were lining up with Tommy Maddox and Amos Zeroue while our current QB was just hitting his legal drinking age.Oh yeah, and it's funny you should mention the terrible towel since your Browns jumped on that bandwagon too, take a look:

Any other questions?

:goodposting: NO WAYThese Browns fans make me laugh.
Cut 'em some slack - it's been years since they've won 2 games in a row, you can't blame them for getting a little carried away.
Three in a row. :thumbup:lol at picking a 5-3 team to beat a 6-2 team. Real carried away.
Welcome to the Board, man. Nice sig. The Steelers fans are right, with a record of ineptness like ours against them they have every right to laugh and not take us seriously. It's gonna take not only beating them, but bullying them around in their own back yard and threatening to win the division to erase all of that. Farrior is right as well, until we start beating them again, there is no rivalry. But even if we lose, I'm still enjoying the hell outta this ride.

Agreed. I say the Browns get clobbered this weekend and still manage 9 or 10 wins. Gotta love getting the NFC West.

One, I didn't ask any questions. Two, a blog by a Yinzer with spelling errors does not register as credible. But thanks for playing.

The Steelers have lost to "worser" teams than the Browns this season so they definitely have a chance. The problem is the Brown's defense. I have a lot more confidence the Steelers defense can keep the Browns offense in check than I do the Browns defense can keep the Steelers offense in check. Plus the game is at Heinz Field.

Steelers win 35-24.

:goodposting: As always with big games with a heavy favorite, the underdog must have a big play or two on special teams. I think Cribbs taking one to the house this game can help out dramatically. The Browns defense must improve as the Browns are strong on one side of the ball, Steelers on two sides. Which is where special teams are so important again.

In the middle of all this smack back and forth, is there anything to Willie Parker's knee inflammation, or is it nothing?

Well played, sir... true, he does have some spelling issues. Although in his defense, it's hard to spell when you're constantly celebrating victories over the Browns. Good luck this weekend.

I knew you guys had trouble with spelling (and hygiene, and when your sister says, "No!"), but I thought you could at least count to 3.
Gotta love all these ohio cheeseballs. Can't talk smack about ANYTHING related to on the field action. Gotta come up with things like this.

That's right, 3 in a row baby! We're going all the way this year!!! :unsure:Ok, back to reality. I just don't think we're going to win this game. If it was a home game I think we'd have a better shot. We're going to need a special teams miracle and maybe a Big Ben injury to pull this one out. Threads like this almost always predict a loss for the underdog :(
