Browns punch Steelers in the teeth this weekend... (1 Viewer)

Also who was straddled with a team void of Pro Bowl talent
You need to back off of this. Braylon Edwards is clearly a Pro Bowl receiver this year, Winslow is probably the best TE not named Gates in the NFL, Eric Steinbach may well get a bid, Cribbs is a virtual shoo-in unless he stumbles down the stretch, and Leigh Bodden has a shot too. That offensive line did as good a job of pass blocking as I've seen all year yesterday too. Stop pretending Crennel has taken some team of misfits and whipped them into a champion - there's talent on that roster commensurate with a 5-4 record.
Riveting. You want to say the Browns are equal to the Steelers in terms of personnel and that the game was only decided on the basis of Crennel's coaching challenges? Anywhoo, congrats, I'm bored, see ya later, you can declare victory and that the only difference between the Browns/Steelers is coaching since we are evenly stacked with personnel.

Actually, I'd say the talent on offense is pretty close. QB goes to Pittsburgh right now, espcially with experience, and an edge at RB.The defenses, however, are another story altogether. Advantage Pittsburgh all the way.

Come on, man. Where did I ever once say the Browns and Steelers were evenly matched in terms of personnel. Of course they aren't, that's why the Steelers have won 9 straight over the Browns. What I said is that they're not "void of Pro Bowl talent." Even your fellow Browns fans acknowledge that the team has several Pro Bowl-worthy players. Stop trying to twist my words around - the last act of a desperate man.

:confused:I have a real problem with seeing my words and points changed and twisted every other post, that's all.

That was a hell of a game from the Browns. Browns fans have a lot to look forward to with their team. Steelers didn't play their best and usually, this is the type of game they lose but hats off to Big Ben as he willed his team to victory. Steelers fans, could you imagine if Tomlin didn't spend all that time on special teams this training camp? That Cribbs is a monster.

:goodposting:

hehe...maybe he's ambiguous.

congrats to all browns fans in here!!

thought they had that one.

I'm smelling something brown this year.......

Forgot to mention this...What is with that field? Gotta be one of the worst in the NFL.
It was in great shape during preseason. The problem is the Pitt Panthers also play on it which tears it up more and then it even gets worse when the 4 Western PA high school championship games are played in a couple weeks.

Actually, it was in pretty good shape last weekend. Come back after Thanksgiving weekend when Pitt and the local high school championships have been played on it.
