Bryant McKinnie suspended first 4 games of the season (1 Viewer)

Heard that, too. Didn't we already know this? Or was it just speculated. We discussed it in at least one thread on Peterson. :lmao:
They said the suspension was due to a fight from several months ago that he just pleaded guilty to.If this is a duplicated from another thread, feel free to merge.

It's funny sometimes how we use phrases like afraid and worried to describe a hobby like FF. Does anyone know how good McKinnie's replacement is?

Artis Hicks will probably step in. I think he is a better run blocker than McKinnie anyway, so it may help (or at least not hurt) the run game. They can help with a TE or a back on pass plays. It changes the approach but shouldn't be huge for the team - they were prepared for it anyway.

I remember two years ago it was fashionable this time of year to fret about LT2 because he had two lineman dinged up.

How'd his 2006 season go? Was he able to over come that?

I dont know, seeing as how I have my big money draft tomorrow, and I have the #2 pick, this could be the difference between me taking him and Westbrook. Its not like his gap between Westbrook or S-Jax was so large that this wouldnt move him down a notch

I have to think that this bumps up Kampman for week 1 and DEs that play against Minn the next 3 weeks have to be considered as well.

You guys are seriously giving McKinnie too much credit. This isn't good news, but he's not exactly a pro bowl tackle.

Perhaps, but I've seen plenty of Artis Hicks....He's barely a servicable guard, let alone a LT. I know AP is an elite talent. What I can't figure out is why so many appear completely dismissive that Westbrook or SJax may be better options with the RB2 spot when considering all the factors. Talent alone isn't enough.

Seems pretty high considering what Marshall just got. Mr. Softie might come in and reduce.

Perhaps, but he's pretty good and I'm quite confident he's better than their backup.

No McKinnie for four games, a bent wheel on an already sub-par QB....Peterson owners should be afraid.
EVERYONE PANIC!!!!!!! THE SKY IS FALLING!!!!!!!If we panic everytime the Shark Pool tells us to panic, this is what we get....AP - Panic cause of thisLT - Panic cause of his ageWestbrook - Panic, he's too small to withstand the punishmentS. Jax - Panic, He gets hurt, his line is hurt always, his QB been stinkinAddai - Panic, Manning is dinged, Saturday is gone for a bitBarber - Panic, Felix will steal carries, he can't hold up with lots of carriesGore - Panic, Martz isn't great for every RB always, QB situtation scaryMoss - Panic, he might not try, Brady is dingedPortis - Panic, injury historyLJ - Panic, bad line, QB and hurt last yearThere's your top 10 in redraft, how about we just take some chill pills. Everyone wants to constantly say BE WORRIED, PANIC. Why panic all the time? You wanna live life constantly paranoid and walking on eggshells, I'll pass.

Except that Kampman usually lines up over the RT not the LT.More like Cullen Jenkins, KGB, or whoever is playing that end spot.
