That would be a nice fit.The title of this thread should be:Where does David Boston go next?My guess, KC Chiefs.
Would he? Why? If he was worthwhile, he would have risen above career underachievers in Hilliard and Boston. The Bucs released David Boston today:

Guess that means Maurice Stovall moves up to No. 3 WR behind Galloway and Clayton. If either of them goes down w/ an injury, Stovall could be a sneaky good pickup. He had a nice preseason, and has the height to be a good red-zone target.
Steriods. What the hell happened with this guy?

I could be wrong, but it sure looks to me like he has risen above Boston in Tampa.Would he? Why? If he was worthwhile, he would have risen above career underachievers in Hilliard and Boston. The Bucs released David Boston today:

That's why I winked. Stovall clearly rose above Boston. He is currently listed as Galloway's #1 backup, Hilliard is Clayton's. We'll see this weekend if Stovall has risen above Hilliard. Gruden likes them both in the slot, Stovall better in the redzone (reading between the lines of a few quotes). Stovall is a tough WR, a heavy blocker, I think he's WR3 already. If not, soon.I could be wrong, but it sure looks to me like he has risen above Boston in Tampa.Would he? Why? Just about to post that, that's the speculation right now.Has to suck to get cut on the eve of opening day. Oof.They probably released him before Wk 1 so they won't have to guarantee his salary and then re-sign him next week. Same with Pinkston/Minn
Correct. They probably released him before Wk 1 so they won't have to guarantee his salary and then re-sign him next week. Same with Pinkston/Minn
Yes but if he is on the team week 1 it is GUARANTEED. Now they can resign him and if he stinks it up they can cut him and don't have to pay him.Pinkston was signed for the min i thought?
True, but Stovall was already ahead of Boston on the depth chart.Correct.They probably released him before Wk 1 so they won't have to guarantee his salary and then re-sign him next week. Same with Pinkston/Minn
That doesn't play into the GUARANTEED payment of Boston's salary.True, but Stovall was already ahead of Boston on the depth chart.Correct.They probably released him before Wk 1 so they won't have to guarantee his salary and then re-sign him next week. Same with Pinkston/Minn
Okay if my Buccaneers end pick with Todd Pinkston on their team I will go on a spree. I don't know what kind of spree, but it'll be a spree nevertheless.Pinkston was signed for the min i thought?
yes, complete with a doobie in 1 hand and a dime bag in the other.Wasn't a former #2 draft pick in for a workout?![]()
