Speaking of bull fighting and rodeos and such I note that my community has lost the Gay rodeo to the Jefferson County Fair Grounds.  It will be there the weekend of July 7-9.

The Roller Derby girls in New Orleans dress up as bulls once a year and chase people through the streets on roller skates hitting people with plastic bats.  I've done that.

So Trump just lifted the ban on importing elephant trophies, which I think might be a somewhat decent litmus test for the discussion we were having here.

Obviously this is going to be almost unanimously opposed by people that hate hunting, so if such a swathing percentage of hunters just do it for the meat and not the sport of it, then this should meet very high resistance from the hunting crowd as well, which would leave almost no one in support of this thing.

I remain cautiously optimistic that this is one of those things where Trump does something he thinks will be popular with his base without really thinking about it, and then ends up backtracking on it.

Does Trump wake up every morning and think to himself, "What's evil thing can I do today?". The guy actively tries to do harm to this world. It's really disgusting.
