Oct 23 2007 04:18PMNancy Gay, of the San Francisco Chronicle, reports San Francisco 49ers RB Frank Gore (ankle) said he his fine after injuring his ankle during the team's Week 7 game and will be able to play Week 8.I sure hope the hell he's ready.

I'm hurting @ TE, giving up on Green, and looking for a slight upgrade w/ gore over portis. Can wait on Morris to get healthy as a RB3/4. Green will help him cover Ward's bye next week. Hopefully the ankle is not a big deal.
This team (w/ gore) is 2-5 and will need to at least win 4 out of 6 for any hope of the playoffs.
