Buy or Sell These (Redraft) RB1's? (1 Viewer)

Tons of talent in this year's Top 12 RB's...but also significant risk factors...who are you buying and selling at their current ADP's?

RB4 - Zeke (draft him and you could have a huge hole in your RB1 slot for half the season or more)

RB5 - D. Johnson (PFF O-line ranking = 30; new coach/rookie QB/college scheme)

RB6 - L. Bell (year off rust?; 28th ranked O-line; huge talent or beneficiary of PIT system?)

RB7 - N. Chubb (K. Hunt returning after Wk 8; split carries?)

RB8 - J. Conner (one year wonder? durability? effects of losing Munchak and AB)

RB9 - T. Gurley (how many games will arthritic knee last? decreased workload?)

RB10 - J. Mixon (27th ranked O-line already banged up; no AJ Green; new system)

RB11 - D. Cook (if healthy could be a steal at this ADP...huge if)

This is why I am very much considering Hopkins at 1.5 this year. Yes I want a very good RB1, but some very good RB's fall back to the 2nd and 3rd round as well.

Buying:
- Zeke, He will get his money
- DJ, running quarterbacks are typically good for RB's.  might be the best receiver on the team
- Chubb, 3 down stud on a well balance offense.

Holding
- Mixon, tons of talent, new system, questions every where else

Selling
- Bell, was he actually good.  Adam Gase is terrible
- Gurley. Can see weeks were the Rams say he is healthy then gets 2 carries.
- Cook, I don't think he is going to get the volume to be an RB1.  He might be a hold for me, but I find the price just a little high.

Buy:

  • Zeke - he good, so is the o-line
  • Chubb - he is better than Hunt
  • Cook - should have every opportunity to be a top 5 RB, flashed talent before getting injured
Hold:

  • DJ - I don't see him falling in the middle, I see either a great year or bad year (for his ADP), so it averages out here.
Sell:

  • Conner - ADP too high for the risks of the Pitt offense regressing
  • Bell - Year off, potentially bad team, Conner looking good last year making him possibly a system RB
  • Mixen - Still a Bengal
  • Gurley - Could be a steal at his ADP even if he loses a few touches, but I worry about him being a game time decision often or being active but getting massively reduced touches if his knee flares up
