brachial plexus is a series of inter connected nerve roots as the come out of the cervical spine join up and create a net (or plexus) before splitting back up and heading down the arm. it is located essentially between the neck and the shoulder, sort of along the muscles on the back near the shoulder blade. sometimes severe muscle spasms of the trapezius or supraspinatus (upper shoulder and back) and cause a brachial plexopathy or nerve tingling/numbness down the arm or in the hand....i can't imagine a nerve injury of this sort would keep a football player out of a game; i suspect he was held out of this week's game as a precautionary measure because they didn't know exactly what happened to his shoulder...oh, and BTW: stop the pissing matches about "i told you so." it's childish and boring...
