brachial plexus is a series of inter connected nerve roots as the come out of the cervical spine join up and create a net (or plexus) before splitting back up and heading down the arm. it is located essentially between the neck and the shoulder, sort of along the muscles on the back near the shoulder blade. sometimes severe muscle spasms of the trapezius or supraspinatus (upper shoulder and back) and cause a brachial plexopathy or nerve tingling/numbness down the arm or in the hand....i can't imagine a nerve injury of this sort would keep a football player out of a game; i suspect he was held out of this week's game as a precautionary measure because they didn't know exactly what happened to his shoulder...oh, and BTW: stop the pissing matches about "i told you so." it's childish and boring...

NFL PrimeTime called it a shoulder burner. It sounds to me that if he lost feeling in his arm, that would probably have made him prone to fumbling. Would you guys still be challenging his character if he had toughed it out at the expense of coughing up fumbles and losing FF points?

Props to LHUCKS, he called it.Brown is not a tough player.
I'm sure I feel better about Brown as my 3rd round pick than all the guys that drafted D. Davis in the 2nd round. Talk about injury prone and a total lineup killer. Willie

"Props to LHUCKS, he called it.Brown is not a tough player."I guess you missed out on drafting Brown, HK and are trying everyway you can to justify it  Just an FYI Brown had 100 yds in the game he didnt finish, I will take that every week :)
Wrong. I drafted Brown as my RB2 in a ten teamer as the 15th overall pick. If you are the kind of FF player that thinks 50 total yards out of your RB2 is a good effort and you enjoy your RB's consistently refusing to play hurt, then I guess we have different standards for evaluating players. As far as LHUCKS goes, he deserves credit where credit is due. He said Brown would get hurt based on his running style and he was 100% correct. You may not like him, but you can't say he was innacurate.
:goodposting:
His injury wasn't because of his running style. Did you SEE the game?
I did. I was there. What is your point? The guy is right, had NOTHING to do with his running style.FWIW, which isn't much, the other guy lay there for a while when, at least, Brown was up jogging to the sideline.

Girls, please take your melodrama outside to a new thread.

Hucks, add something meaningful to this thread and quit responding to the injury prone debate. We know where you stood on this position and player.Just give us what us Brown owners are seeking to understand about his current injury. We need to know how long for recovery and the seriousness of the injury. If you cannot add any information in regards to the current injury, then ignore this thread and move on. You have not added anything useful or positive to this thread that will help us in regards to this current year of fantasy football.

Unless someone has an update on Brown's injury, I don't see a need to keep this thread going.
Good job on the updates, guys - THANK YOU.However, I will re-iterate what CracKer said earlier.
