C Taylor Carted Off Field (1 Viewer)

Chester Taylor left Blakeslee Stadium on a cart this morning with a right shoulder or right arm injury. Taylor, who rushed for more than 1,000 yards last season, was hit after catching a pass and, after a short period of time, appeared to be in a lot of pain.

We’ll update you after practice.

Talk about great timing by the Vikings! If Peterson hadn't been signed yet, they would have probably had to pony up a ton more cash, or at least had a longer holdout on their hands.

Needed to be carted off for a shoulder injury? :D

I'm thinking this is a serious nerve problem from the impact ala Holmes. Sometimes a burner or stinger hurts more than the injury really is and the player is ok, but other times it can mean some pretty ugly nerological problems to deal with.

:Prue speculation:

The Rotoworld link indicates he was in ALOT of pain. This seems to be fairly serious.
I stubbed my big toe yesterday on the couch and was in allot of pain. I wouldn't get too excited until we hear what the x-ray/MRI shows.

My whole damn team is getting injured! Everyday it's somebody else on my roster getting carted off the field on a stretcher! FARGIN BAD LUCK! :D

ADP owner

FWIW I would rather it be just serious enough for ADP to take the reigns and never look back. Hope he's not seriously injured. Actually I would prefer if ADP just won the job without any injury, but I'll take it.

Wow, the injury bug is hitting RBs strong so far: Dunn's back, Chris Taylor's meniscus cartilage, Gore's broken hand, Chester Taylor's shoulder/arm - I need to crank out an updated injury report and training camps aren't even 1 week old!

Don't forget Vernand Morency's injured knee.

I can't help but to feel bad for Taylor. He finally gets traded out of Baltimore, has one nice year, then they draft a superstud in AP, and now he's hurt. Talk about your stock changing dramatically over the last 4 months. As an AP owner in 2 dynasty leagues, I can't say I'm too upset though.

Hey Warpig... who else is on your roster so I avoid those players in my upcoming drafts....

It's not a serious injury fools.C Taylor is day to day with a shoulder stinger.
I would tend to agree with the information given, but needing to be carted off? Usually the arm just feels dead and the player can be seen walking off the field with his arm dangling. He seemed to be in serious pain.

I feel kinda bad for him too but then I remember how much money he makes.
This is probably the dumbest thing I've heard all day. Because he makes a good living you'd can't feel bad for him?
Sure, but not at the same level as you would the paycheck-to-paycheck living punch press operator that just lost his hand.
Let's not go overboard. Chester Taylor didn't lose a hand. He got injured performing his craft. Having met Chester a few times over the years in Baltimore I've found him to be a kind thoughful gentleman. I'd feel bad for him for the person he is and not for how many zero's are on his paycheck.

Since you seem intent on missing the point, let's just continue on, shall we?

Yeah, I just heard that Chester's entire family was murdered last night. Oh well though, he's making a couple million a year.

I'll field this one folks. A) It was a joke. Go overboard if you want but that's all it is, a bit of schaudenfraude mixed with sarcasm, but if you want to go cry in a corner about it be my guest. B) You might not know this but CT and I aren't very close. In fact, we've never met. If I'm going to start feeling sorry for people I've never met I'm sure as hell not going to start with a millionaire athlete. Darfur seems like a better place. C) It's a shoulder injury. His father didn't die unexpectedly nor did his son or daughter die tragically before his or her time. I tend not to weep when athletes get nicked up.ETA: Can we get back to talking football or does this debate need to be submitted to The View?

This is either bogus, or C. Taylor is one hell of a baby.

this guy wants to fire his coach because a player got hurt.

What kind of camp is this?/ Yesterday Phat Pat got good penetration on TJack & know Chester Taylor goes down?? What next? Brooks Bollinger goes deep?? I mean come on, thought this was football…..

FIRE CHILDRESS NOW !!!!!!!!!!!1

Either way this is good news for APs potential this year. More reps in TC = more time for him to shine = more opportunity in regular season.

Good lord, go have a good cry about it.

I seem to be hearing "carted off the field" quite a bit this year. I've read that phrase about 3 or 4 players on the Redskins and only one (Samuels) is somewhat serious. The others I believe returned the next day.
