Californication Season 4 thread... (1 Viewer)

Michael Imperoli's advice to Hank was to "write up his own experiences into his own TV show". God I hope we're not going to get the cliched ending where the finale is about him making a "Californication" show within a show. It was just barely OK when Seinfeld did it. Now it's 20 years later and waaaaay to old a "twist".

Mia is pretty annoying but she's supposed to be.Karen is the one I can't stand. Hank's supposed to be totally in love with this ice cold #####? Other than the fact that she's tall and hot, I don't see it. I don't think it's a coincidence that season 3 is so good precisely because she's off in New York and barely in a lot of the episodes.
I had to take a break from the show around s-4 ep-5. Too much Karen and Becca. I was hoping this show would be an Entourage clone.

Love the theme song though

Aww man. Haven't had Showtime in a couple years and found out this show was no longer on. Real bummer. Guess I'll catch up on last 2 seasons online. Loved this show. So good :(

Your time would be better spent re-watching the first two seasons when Hank Moody was at his finest.

3 and 4 were great seasons, better than 2 IMO. Runkle's hijinks when he was trying to sleep with 100 women or when he was dating the crazy real estate agent were hysterical. Loved Moody as the college professor.
