I am in a double elimination Suicide pool. I am a perfect 14-0, with 2 others still alive.
1 oponent has zero wins, 2nd oponent has 1 loss. I have a problem, which at the outset of the pool didn't seem to be a factor but is now. If multiple players make it to the end, undefeated participants take precident. So since I am undefeated, I only need to worry about the other undefeated guy.
The tie breaker is to add all the total wins of all selected teams, and the participant with the LEAST amount of wins will get the $. So the guy who took the RISKY choices will win. Right now I am trailing my oponent by 9 wins. So instead of looking for all the easy matchups, I need to consider teams with terrible records.
Does anyone else have this situation to contend with? If so please list your 3 week strategy.
Am I carzy to consider Seattle this week vs. the Rams?
This is tough!
