Calvin Johnson (ankle) opts for treatment over practice. again. (1 Viewer)

There are always several "bench Calvin Johnson" threads seemingly every year because he's dinged, or the QB situation is awful, or the matchup looks tough on paper. He almost always produces, regardless.

He's going to score 15+ TDs this season with Stafford and the overall team improvement. He should have had 3 TDs against the Bucs, but Stafford threw one way over his head somehow in the end zone early in the game.

The search function isn't too tough. Type "Calvin" after you're in the advanced search area. Click the box to show thread titles only, and then scroll down and highlight "shark pool" so it only shows shark pool threads. All of those old threads should pop up. They're usually good for a laugh.

found it, for some reason wasnt showing up initially, maybe its caps sensitivehttp://forums.footballguys.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=563908&st=100
The best part is the guys that people thought would be sneaky starts just fizzled bad that week. So glad I didn't start McCluster. What the hell was I even thinking for a for the split second I even contemplated McCluster!? :lmao: :lmao:

:lmao: Other guys listed in their included ammendola, gaffney, britt, knox, garcon, michael bush, (nice one jamny) wallace, harvin, maclin, floyd, royal, Torain, like thomas, crabtree, royal colston, ward :X too funny, but McCluster???? :lmao: that remind me of the debate I had with a guy last year who was predicting something in the range of 70-90 carries for mccluster in a t jones/ j charles thread.worst one though Brandon Jackson :lmao:

Looks like this is gonna be a weekly thing. I'm fine with them using the other guys to stretch the field and focusing on MEGA in the red zone, but since he has the 'red cross' might as well keep this going.

Calvin Johnson (ankle) sat out Lions practice Wednesday.Johnson is likely on the same schedule this week as he was leading up to Week 2. He sat out practice Wednesday, sat out Thursday, returned on a limited basis Friday and then put two touchdowns on the Chiefs Sunday. Owners have nothing to worry about as a whole slate of Lions veterans rested today. Sep 21 - 11:54 AMSource: Dave Birkett on Twitter

Like I said before. I don't want him practicing if the ankle is bothering him. Play madden for the next 4 days, do a few uper body weights, maybe a crossword or 3. See ya on sunday mega!
