So, I have a Canon Rebel XT 350D SLR camera. We've had it awhile so I dusted it off the other day because my daughter is showing some interest in photography. I figured I'd let her goof around on this and see if she likes it.

I need new batteries: a quick Amazon search has plenty of options. For you camera buffs out there is there a brand of battery that is better and not some cheap piece of crap? Any help would be appreciated.

My only suggestion is to buy from a reputable amazon seller, probably directly from cannon.


I read many articles all the time like the below article and due to my own experience of sometimes getting really cheap electronics from amazon i have mostly switched to only purchasing electronics directly from the manufacturers amazon store.
